That's what a demo is for, to make it look spectacular! I've yet to encounter a real life situation that has ever lived up to it's advertising. Word of mouth and first hand reviews are the only way to get the true story.
Viking has recieved mixed reviews overall, but surprisingly little detail has been included in any feedback on Viking.
There have been discussions on this. Try doing a search on the General discussion board or the ISO board. IIRC they weren't too positive.
