I was in Vegas two weeks ago and was walking there from my hotel however I turned back area was not good for a midnight stroll. I will try again in two week when I return.
Ok it's seems that quite often people are on here looking for Las Vegas recommendations or asking about the screen there and quite often about the Las Vegas lounge. Well I was there a couple of weeks ago and here is what I have to say. A lot of it is based on how comfortable you are with yourself. I had been there once before so I was not shocked or scared of the neighborhood. Truthfully it's really not that bad. Sure it looks a little sketchy but it's really not dangerous as long as you have your head on straight. The time that I was there before I was new to this fascination so it was really just a huge adrenaline rush for me to park and walk in there. I was totally intimidated and as a result very reserved, just kept to myself.
I suppose I am a little older and more experienced now so when I parked and went in I was not at all uncomfortable. I was well dressed as I would be going out anywhere else, sober and respectful. I got there about 10:30 and there were several nice looking girls hanging out and more arriving. I got a beer and asked a very attractive girl if I could join her. We had a very nice conversation and we went back to her apartment and had a very nice time.
If you have become comfortable with yourself and this is what you are looking for and approach it with the same respect you would anywhere else you will have a nice time there. Sure there are plenty of shady partying characters running around, you are obviously not walking into Disneyland, but if you are looking for this type of thing I would recommend
One thing to remember, sin city is not as great of a t/s screen as you would expect. That is another reason to go to the lounge and see you connect with

Don't walk...taxi there and back. Get dropped off at the door and hang inside till the taxi arrives to take you home. The area as stated is "ok". There are apartments very close who are full of meth heads....I have seen it first hand years ago when I was taken back to a TS girls apartment about a block away. That's everywhere so just use common sense and be safe. Don't wander outside drunk and if you see a girl, I myself would taxi there and not walk a block or two. Going with them in their car is a bit of a risk too in my opinion. I have seen a few very HOT girls there over the years....

Great advice from dog. I would not walk there from any distance or hang outside at all. When I say the place isn't that bad, I mean that in very relative terms. This is not your neighborhood Applebee's. There are many crack and meth heads around. I drove and was able to park upfront and we left in my car. So as dog said use common sense and you can have a good time here
This is one I wish I would have talked to there and met...but did not....
I will taxi there next time, at my age I got about 1/2 round left in me and would rather save it for the ladies. I am glad I don't drink sound like you need your wits about you. I love to see the talent upfront no "Oh shit" moments.
I was there for the first time a couple months back. Drove there and agree this is not an area for tourist walks and sky watching. I was reserved as well sitting at the bar. Had drinks watching the ladies trying to figure how things work there. Had one come over and join me. We talked for a good 45 minutes. I gave some real thought to leaving with her but she was not what I was looking for. She stepped aside and another came over that was the exotic type I like. Good talk and with me being more relaxed I drove to her place and dropped her back there afterwards. It was a Wednesday night and the number of ladies starting picking up after midnight
Good to hear of your experience. Usually Friday and Saturday nights are the best nights. Maybe that is a sign things are improving there.
