uproot his family. And imagine the $$$$$. Great retirement plan? I'm sure that is already been taken care of BUT..........

Espn reports that Mike K. is the Nets first choice for head coach. Has he done all he can at the collegiate level?

"Should I stay or should I go"?

He turned down the Lakers job a few years ago. I can't see him leaving now for the "Nots." Has he done all he can do at the college lever? He can always shoot for another championship. Pitino makes more sense for the Nets, although he's been denying it. (Where have we heard that before?) Calipari is kicking his butt in recruiting and Kentucky kicked L'ville's butt earlier this season. In my opinion, he has done all he can do at Louisville and it's time to leave.

pond and have to deal with the big ego NBA players?

Petino on the other hand, is a slim ball and would fit right in with the NBA lifestyle.

the pinnacle in coaching to the bottom of the barrel.  He might be the Nets first choice, but I'm sure the Nets are NOT his first chioce!

I can't see K leaving-he is a diety in Durham and has a program that is certainly among the tops in the country, bringing in blue chip recruits yearly-He was wooed by the Lakers some time back and turned them down-The Nets suck and I believe Pitino may go there, but not K-As one sage put it, "it's a lot easier to coach poor teenagers than rich 20 somethings." Stranger things have happened, but K has it made where he is with big bucks-why would he put himself through the stress and headaches of a pro job? We'll see........
