At one time I used to hang out/work in a business that "chopped" motorcycles. no it didn't buy stolen mcs and part them out, we made choppers for customers much like the flood of TV shows we are inundated with.
Plus, I wore a patch.
Every once in a while a new face would come through talkin some talk but just seemed not quite right?! So once in a while we'd test him, some one who NEVER was into any illegal drugs would claim they just scored a killo of weed, or some one who would never touch any hard core drugs would excitedly walk in and proclaim the just scored unbelievable smack! And then would fake becoming quiet when noticing the not quite right.
One time during a usual round up to bust our balls a cop with a BIG grin on his face rolled up first one long sleeve of my shirt and then then next closely looking for track marks as I smiled intently at him. I never stopped grinning when he seemed disappointed and started with their usual song and dance to question us for anything they could use against us. I was silent and just kept GRININ!
The fact that I was alive was enough to piss them off to start with. So, sitting there GRININ wasn't go to change anything against me.
Eventually they had to let us go. On my way out, still grinin I just said Got Cha. Never saw the not right fellow again? Never had anyone roll up my sleeves again either.
