Well it's been a bit since I've been stood up but alas I just spent my late morning driving across town to be blown off. I saw her on the ad board that everyone loves to hate but many still use, including some of the well known ladies who post here 
I remembered she had some reviews here in the past and they were positive but I was unable to find them now. Perhaps she had them pulled?
After first contact we scheduled for a meeting yesterday. I contacted her yesterday in the am to re-confirm when she told me she couldn't make it due to some other pressing matter. We rescheduled for today and again, I contacted her to re-confirm and she replied we were good to go.
After driving across town and arriving 5 minutes early I called and got her her VM. Texted her and let her know I was near and needed final directions. 10 minutes later, a rinse and repeat with a call and another text. After another 10 minutes I left and had a nice lunch across the street so the story doesn't have a totally unhappy ending
Got a text from her about an hour after our scheduled time with the usual that many here on both sides of the aisle have heard. Blah blah I'm so sorry, blah blah my mother, brother, father in law, second cousin, neighbor with a beard, insert your favorite excuse here.
Yes I know things do in fact come up, but with both providers and clients it happens way too often to be much other than people not caring enough to make good on a promise and to fully consider that others time and effort have value.
Yeah I know bitch bitch bitch... it happens. Very true, but I dont have to ignore it every time it does so.....
