You're delusional!!!

The real headline rumble tonight is in Las Vegas, baby!!  The only match up of two top 25 teams.

Don't be surprised if three Mountain West Teams end up in the Sweet 16.  San Diego State is also good enough to make the tourney, but, unless they win the post-season conference tourney, they'll be shunned.

Those teams are ranked only bc they play such a weak schedule their won loss record is inflated. If North Carolina played their schedule, they would be ranked top five right now.

In the tournament, they will not receive seeds commiserate with their rankings which probably means they would have to beat two major conference teams to reach the Sweet Sixteen. Maybe New Mexico could pull off two wins but that's the only one I see.

New Mexico's beaten four (4) Top 25 teams to date!  North Carolina has played a weak schedule...the ACC!!

I look forward to March madness!!

North Carolina has lost to Kentucky, Texas, and Syracuse, three top five teams. They have impressive wins over Ohio State and Michigan State.

If they played New Mexico, the Vegas line would be 8 points for Carolina. True, Steve Alford did singlehandly knock Michael Jordan out of the NCAAs in his final year - but Steve can't play.

even get to the Final Four was __________?

The 3 best basketball conferences are the Big East, ACC, and Big 12.  Mich. St. has lost 3 straight.  The Big 10 is mediocure.  If you look at the ESPN bracketology, there is NO PAC10 team in the dance.  The SEC has Kentucky but the rest are also-rans.

1970 with Sam lacey and Charlie Criss? Of course, UNLV won it all in 1990 (I think).
