football season starts!
As the Super Bowl champ gets to host the special Thursday night opening game, as I look at the Saints schedule there are really only two choices. One would be the Steelers and the other would be the Vikings. (I cant see any of the other teams: Carolina, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Cleveland, Seattle or St. Louis being attractive options).
Initial reaction, I think it will be the Steelers (2008 champs v. 2009 champs). If Favre comes back, however, they could opt for the championship rematch....but I doubt you'd know that before they announce the shcedule in April.
So it looks like the Black and Gold v. the Black and Gold! (may the original black and gold prevail!!)
