Why not get one of those vacuum food sealers which melts the end of the bag for a seal? That way, you can set the package as a collectors item that is 'hermetically sealed', or something like that. There should be no worry of leakage... AND it keeps the scent fresh. Ziplocks could open... heat-sealed bags can't without serious stressing of the plastic (i.e. ripping, fierce pulling or direct piercing).
