What are the likely consequences for clients/hobbyist when a provider he has seen gets arrested?

U cross her off ur list.

Assuming it is because she has had the audacity to share herself with some one else, ur risk is nill unless you volunteer being a willing participant in the sharing, and over whelmed with appreciation, gave her a gift of funds.

Remember If asked, ask LEO if they ever lie to get what they want? Regardless of what they say simply point out that because of False Positives you can only put yourself at risk by answering questions.

Are you a nobody with a hobby phone, who doesn't give out his full name and employment info?

Or are you somebody like Eliot Spitzer, Charlie Sheen, or even the Sham Wow guy?

In the latter case, you still wouldn't necessarily be in trouble in a court of law, but the shit might hit the fan in the court of public opinion.

By the way, Charlie Sheen and the Sham Wow guy should have used TER to find well reviewed escorts.

While I understand the need for a provider to screen and protect herself, my personal risk is too great to give out my real name and work info in case she is ever arrested. Even if you cant be charged with anything, LE will still enter into their report all evidence gathered and that will include your name, address, place of work and drivers license number if you were foolish enough to give that info out.

I recall in my early days of hobbying giving my real info to a provider for screening. I asked her how long she kept that kind of info. She assured me that it was gone when I left. After my session with her I didn't contact her back for almost a year. When I did, she responded to me by name so I'm left to assume that my info will be kept by her in perpetuity.

Drivers license number? Whatever for?

A provider who was advertising on BP was asking for a DL number as part of her screening. Another lady I contacted recently wanted a picture of me holding my drivers lic to verify. Needless to say I'm not going to visit either of the ladies.

Way too many ads asking for a picture from the client before setting up a meeting.  This could be a case of a new provider only wanting to see clients they have some attraction to, but then again it reeks of LE...they want to know what you look like so they can get you in the parking lot....

As for holding your license # in a picture of yourself...this could even be a identity thief at work.

As for client information being destroyed....I once had a provide call me 2 yrs after I attempted to see her....she found it in her day planner when she cleaned out her garage.

Too much LE activity going on to give any information to a new provider.

The lady requesting the picture isn't a identity thief. She is a well reviewed lady here and while I dont believe she would misuse any info I give her, the mere chance of her being arrested with my info in her possession is too great a risk for me.

If she is arrested, and her phone, day timer, crackberry, etc. is taken and downloaded, I doubt LE could come to you 1 month or 1 year after the fact and try to arrest you.    They could try and shake you up and hope you say ANYTHING (key work is ANYTHING) to accusations.

Never say anything other than "Lawyer" and SHUT UP.

Not that I'm a lawyer, nor stayed lately at a Holiday Inn, but it sounds like it would be considered Hearsay and not admissible in court.

Don't admit or deny anything.  "Lawyer".  Keep your mouth shut.

As far as how to treat the lady in the future?  That's a hard question.  I'm sure LE dangles all kinds of false hopes and lies to coerce things.    Perhaps that's fodder for another thread for "guests" of Scottsdale and MCSO to post anonymously their impressions

I agree that they would probably be unable to attempt any kind of prosecution after the fact but that isn't my concern. The simple fact that my personal info could be tied to a criminal case in any way is unacceptable to me and that's why I use an email account and phone number that is dedicated to the hobby and nothing else.

I realize that this hobby comes with risks. Just showing up to an appointment can mean an arrest but I attempt to mitigate that risk however possible and that includes not giving up my true identity.
