Ugh...

So, because of the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake incident, all Super Bowls will have geriatric, baby-boomer bands?

Next year, the Rolling Stones?

My goodness, I can understand not inviting Lil Wayne, but there has to be a happy medium between foul-mouthed rappers and rockers in their 60s.

Ok I know that this is not really sports related, but.....  What did you folks think of the Who's half time show??  I saw them on their first farewell tour, and wow have they lost it.  I thought they sucked.

I realize they have a great following, but my choice for geriatric entertainment would have the 'Floyd'. Pink that is.  Not energetic music though.

I like a few of their songs. But then again, I've never been a big halftime entertainment fan anyway. They either get someone I've never heard of, or someone who's over-the-hill.

They simply don't have it anymore, and the Super Bowl would be wise to get groups IN THEIR PRIME!

When will they realize that guys in their 60's are no longer rock stars.  It's just another great 1980's halftime show that is rerun 30 years too late.

They already had the Stones at the 05 game. The Stones in my mind still rock!  Their show was much better, and in concert they are still worth the money to see.

The NFL is punishing younger fans for the sins of Janet/Justin. By "younger" I mean "under 60."

Since nipplegate we've had McCartney, the Stones, Tom Petty, the Who, Springsteen, Prince. No one under 50. Ridiculous.

It sounded like amatures at a kareoke bar....I hate to say.

Who's on first.

Thank you

They may be past their prime, but the music isn't.

I agree with that.  Listening to them is great, but watching them during the Super Bowl was painful.
