last night I had an apt that really almost made me want to never see anyone again..I had someone rude.. physically ..abusive and just yucky..I usually see people that make me love my job..LOVE IT..but this.. he had references and was here for a convention how can I tell... I usually am a great judge of people..I had a provider call me for a reference yesterday and I told here the real deal about a client " I told here" he is ok.,but he can be a little scarey..he was ok to me..but he was banned from ter for stealing a providers credit card. I get the impresion he stalked her...blah b;ah blah..now I figure I should give her the heads up..so she can make her own mind up..the person I saw I find it hard to belive he suddenly acted like this with me without doing the same to someone else...why then would the people that I called not warn me about him.???? isnt it the same courtesy..and no I wont publicly say who he is thats not me..

Sorry you had a bad night . ;-(
don't let it get you down that you had a bad night .There are many great guys out there . Honesty in 5 years I can say I only had two bad dates .
One didn't have proper hygiene . The other was being rude to me ......But I put him in his place , treated him like he treated me and put an end to the session .

I don't know how bad the client was to you ....but yes it can happen that maybe he was different with another lady then he was with you .

I even had a client who was fine with me for quite a while ..... one day he totally "switched" up on me . He was a total different person ....later to find out - all the the time he was nice we was on PROZAC . The day he was being a jerk we didn't take his Prozac . Of course now I chose to no longer see him because I don't need to put up with mood swings .


So you never know . Yes there are reasons .  the minute a guy starts to get rude or abusive I would put him in his place ! and tell him if he can't be a gentleman this date is now officially over !!

Very well put as usual Cindy, but one thing I did find funny in your post was during your little story about Prozac boy, Was that you, a woman, said "Of course now I chose to no longer see him because I don't need to put up with mood swings" Now I guess you know how us fellas feel half the time :)

Well then like me don't chose to be around the ones on Prozac and you won't have to put up with it even half of the time ;-)

LOL, It's my best friends house, He's a lead singer in a rock/ heavy metal band, A hell of a nice guy and is...how should I put this... not the most tidy fella in the world, The Pics was from about this time last year maybe and it doesn't look a bit diffrent, no better, no worse :) The room has not been finished in allmost eight years, I was thinking about getting one of those shows on HGTV, or MTV crib crashers to hit his place, But I think they'd turn around and leave allmost as soon as they walked in, LOL.

PS I think if you can stare past my hunky a$$ for just a second :) you'll be able to see a guitar case sitting against the wall, I hang around a lot of people in the music industry (I was a bass player for a number of years myself) and I don't know what it is, they are just not clean people, LOL.

It never ceases to amaze me why some guys just can't be a gentlemen.  As the saying goes, Give Respect, Get Respect.  It's obvious this guy was not taught this golden rule of life.

As with everything in life, there is always some bad apples in the bunch.  Lucky the bad is usually a minority.  I would post this information on a ladies board so others can be forewarn.

On behalf of all the "good guys" out there I would just say sorry that one of our kind has let us down.
That someone should treat you that way is unforgiveable and I think that the old "name and shame" would not go amiss in this case.

Just remember all the good times and that should help salve the hurt

Thanks for giving me the heads up !!! I agree you should always tell another provider anything that might tip you off to how the client could act. It is then up tho the provider if she wants to see the client or not...
