It's a load of smoke being blown.

It's all a huge moneymaker by LE and politicians.  Every lady they bust, they make a ton of money.  And Lord forbid, she has a screener or appointment assistant.  Conspiracy, and RICO time. Seize homes, cars, bank accounts.

Scottsdale made so much money arresting DUI criminals, that when the arrests dropped when people started to take alternative transportation, they had to find another revenue stream.  Say hello to all the new escort laws and license requirements.

It's easy to get people to donate to your religious organizations when you claim to be fighting to save the children from trafficking.

Personally, I've never ran into anyone acting under pressure.  But my tastes run towards the 35+ year old ladies, and don't think that really fits the profile for the "save the children" crowd claiming these ladies need saving

OK, I know this is opening up a huge can of worms... and I will probably regret it...  but here goes, anyway.  We have been hearing so much about human trafficking recently, and some of the people fighting this issue have made it sound like human trafficking accounts for most of the providers out there.  Now, I don't mean to belittle this – I think that human trafficking is a horrible thing and should be fought, of course -- especially when it involves children.  I am sure we can all agree on that.  But like many wars, I wonder if the truth is not the first casualty in this "war on trafficking"...

With the Super Bowl coming to Phoenix in less than a year, we're going to hear more and more about this, so I wanted to hear what people in this community think about it.  Have YOU ever contacted a provider or agency and suspected that they were engaged in trafficking?  Because I never have.  And you can see from the number of reviews I have written that I am not exactly a newbie...  Of course, I tend to see independent providers or use well-established agencies.  I have never picked up a woman off the street.  But in all my time hobbling, I have never once suspected that the person I was with was there in any way against their will.  I already made the decision long ago that, if that ever happened, I would be morally bound to report it to the police.  And knowing that I would likely have some difficult questions to answer from the authorities, it would probably get me into trouble -- but hey, you have to do what's right, when it comes to something like that, I think, even if it does cost you.  Fortunately, I have not had to go down that road... yet.  But has anyone else out there had an experience like that?  I am just curious.  Thanks!

Would like people to think that trafficking is a huge problem.  I guess they get extra funding for their cause???  In 15 years I haven't ever seen it or heard about it.  The only time I raised a brow was related to the Asian massage places.  I did hear whispers in D.C. about Eastern European women being brought in and driving the rates down in the capitol area.  Nothing else..  more than anything, consenting adults being arrested under their crusade.

There are zillions of studies exposing the lies of the sex trafficking idiots that fund the rescue industry that tries to create victims out of consenting adults, the fake research of Farley and her ilk - totally discredited by the Canadian Court when filed friend of Court brief.

But it gets folks upset, gets $millions of grants and in Phoenix Catholic Charities funding from the city to spread the word of the victim and trafficking lies to go after in private consenting adults.

It is great for the politicians to lie about and deceive the public and fund the victim industry.

Yes maybe 5% are real trafficking victims or under aged.  Go after them not spike the arrest numbers and huge Court costs and LE going after the 95%.

Sadly part of this is due to the Federal Trafficking law which makes anyone helping like a phone person or driver is a trafficker no matter how consenting it is.  The Federal law defines "extreme trafficking" if coerced vs just "trafficking" if its consenting adults.

This results in Phoenix the huge funding and gloating over Project Rose - scam to make victims and the funding for them.  You either agree you are a victim or go to jail - no matter if true or not.  It is one of the biggest scams and spreading all over the country with Phoenix the prime city to teach other cities to pertetuate the lies and scam to get funding and politicians love to lie to folks making it seem they are solving a problem which is 95% only in their minds, not in reality.,

Allows them to obscure the issue that they are doing the opposite of providing help to people.

Many years ago I red a book called The Feather Merchants. It put forth the theory that the best way to escape scrutiny was to create a "Black Hat".

Black hat because at one time all of the bad guys in western movies wore black hats.

Trafficking is The Black Hat to cover up "prostituting" the issue for $$$, votes, political gain, extorting pleas from poor people, legal theft of a person's life while they wait for a trial and sentencing.

Deprived and determine
