END OF MESSAGE

Saw the new Michael Moore flick today. Pretty freakin' awesome. Not as good as his last one, but pretty damn good none-the-less. It's about time that somebody asked why we tolerate the bastards on Wall Street at all.

Michael Moore is great.  I plan on seeing it today.

It did a wopping 1.5M the opening weekend. That's pitiful!!

Hell, I doubt that would cover Moore's food bill during the filming!!

it's pretty good. Moore goes after Dems as much as he goes after reich wingers in this flick.

Um...watch Moore's comments on capitalism in the film The Corporation.

Why do conservatives try to say that Moore is a liar by pulling shit out of their ass that's not true and saying "Moore said that!"

M.M. sucks. His movies don't look at unbiased facts and draw conclusions. He twists facts or fails to disclose them worse than any of the main-stream media.

I saw MM interviewed by Larry King on CNN a few weeks back and then saw the movie last week. When MM asks a bunch wall street men and economic experts what a "derivative" is and no one can answer in a coherent way, it is not a twisting of facts but actually a true portrayal that even those who are part of the industry do not really understand what is going on right under their own nose.

You'll end up with enough footage to shoot a thousand movies.

I'll wager you that if you asked enough doctors the simplest questions from med school or enough lawyers the simplest legal questions from ambush, you would end up with enough to make a gullible person terrified of the practioners of those professions as well.

That's fine and good. Moore is not a news reporter. He's a documentary film maker. There is a difference.

So what do you call Limbaugh, aHannity or Beck's shows?

Each of the three has put a spin of the facts from time to time, but not uder the guise of a "Documentary." A documentary by definition is supposed to present facts objectively without editorializing. MM's film are NOT documentarys.

When two of the three people you mentioned spin the facts it's clear (to most at least) that they are doing it. Hannity is the only one of the bunch that is blatent about it. He will do it while wearing what he feels is a journalist's hat. Limbaugh, far less so and Beck hardly ever. Beck is sorely misunderstood by most that do not watch him. He's totally different from any other talk show person, right, middle or left.

Hmmm... and how does he differ from Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity or O'Reilly???
