If an independent provider is making good money and is not in fear for her safety what could a pimp tell her that would make her turn over her earnings to him?   What would his selling points be?

If you are a provider and have been approached by a pimp in the past please share with us your experience if you would like to.   I am curious.

I've been approached by many. And they learned quickly that I had no need for their services. Literally, no need whatsoever. I can manage my own hard earned money, thanks.

But to answer your questions:

Selling points that a pimp might use to "knock" a "solid ho" (these are their terms, not mine):

1) Yes, you're making great money now. But imagine how much you could make if you had more time. Let me help you.
2) Yes, you're making great money now. But are you investing it? Let me invest your money for you.
3) yes, you're making great money now. But you're all alone and everyone needs somebody. Let me be that somebody.......
and on and on...

Most commonly used words: Yes, Money, Me.

Brainwashing. That is their selling point.

Akiya I'm sure you are right but you may have forgot the other point they might make....and when I need services you are going to do whatever I want!

They don't make that point until the girl is too dependent on him. When he has her where he wants her, reliant on him. Then he will tell her that. Now she has to earn her spot that he begged her to take. By that time, she already believes in his hype. She NEEDS him now and will do ANYTHING to keep him.

My fav phrase from a pimp "I want my hands on your ass and my palms on your cash".

Oh really. That's nice. Not.

There is always someone who is making me turn over my earnings to him.
Plus, I actually fear for my safety if I don't do it.

I never get approached in person by any. The new thing is the internet trolling they now do. I get many messages where they say their name, flash a pic of mass 100's and then ask would you like to join they're team. My response is always if you have that much money what do you need me for. They also reroute their numbers so the number they text from is not their actual number. It really just seems pointless to troll the internet and send out mass text with no responses.

We can take this to the politics board but you're probably already immunized to facts such as marginal tax rates for 99.9% of Americans are the same now as under Bush and that corporations have gotten $2.8 trillion in tax cuts between 2001 and 2012. But I guess it's just easier to caricature the black guy as a pimp.

Phunhog, I agree!  You took the words right out of my mouth.  But to answer your question, it's both.

Both, and either way its teh funneh. I've got a huge collection of jokes about my own ethnicity. Race/ethnic jokes are funny if they are true.  There are plenty of true stereotypes out there. I got over it a long time ago. I'd post a list of absolutely true ethnic stereotypes but would probably get banned.

To be fair, the ones that are just stupid aren't funny. _____s are lazy or like to steal, for instance. It ain't true or funny

Simply google your ?'s online to find out why pimps & ho's are always going to be around.  I am 100% independent, but you would be surprised at the # of providers here who have pimps, daddies, or wanna-be bf's who they share with other providers.  The glamorous life-style is a major attraction to women.  They hand over their $ to watch their manager spend it on whatever he wants.  The majority of the time none of these providers have homes, or cars in their own name it all belongs to daddy. Pimp of the year if they are lucky they get to go to the players ball & keep their head down.  lol  This is 4 real it is serious a real pimp can make millions.  No lie.

Here are a few of my ATF pimpumentaries:
American Pimp
Pimps up ho's down
oldie, but goodie The Mack

...I find it so humorous but, very annoying.  I just can't seem to get him to go poof into the night.  I couldn't imagine giving my anything to a pimp.  I can't even imagine what goes through the minds of ladies/young girls that do.

Another thing...it appears they now troll the boards to find marks.  I'm not that one!!!

MsM

I believe if we as a nation legalize it yes regulate and tax it. Drive the pimps out of business what does everyone else think on this.

along with a few other things....like marijuana. Things are changing around here. And soon. I'm against legalizing prostitution. I'm all for decriminalizing it. If they can decriminalize adultery, surely they'd have no qualms against doing the same for prostitution? I mean, if we are gonna toss a few morals out the window, why not all of them?

As for the pimps, they are here to stay. Nothing will ever stop them. They are like the Terminator. And yes, like MP said, some make millions. Millions! If the gov't was smart(er?) they WOULD legalize prostitution and tax it. We would single handedly free our nation of debt. I'm only slightly kidding when I say this. But again, I'm against legalizing and would prefer they decriminalize it. Would still gladly pay taxes though!

to any black folks on here.  I am just curious why in the US it seems every pimp is black?   Is this true or just a perception?

Read & refer to the SD link below on pimps you can see a white male getting arrested & the police are taking off his gold chain.  He was not only a local pimp, but a tattoo artist as well.  Any hue can be a pimp.

I need to win the lottery, then I am going to buy a house with at least 8 bedrooms, one for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday Saturday and yes sunday too! then change my name to "everydaydaddyZona" ! then I am going to franchise it!

A common technique is to volley a bunch of harassing phone calls or appointment no-shows at a provider (monopolizing their time and preventing them from working), then the future "manager" gently inquires if any of that has been going on. Of course, our knight in shining armor vows to put a stop to it, which would work because he's the one doing it. Creating a need for his "services".  If that does not work, the threats can start.

We lost at least one excellent provider due to this (that i know of) and a few others have asked me for ideas how to deal with it. Sucks.

That's like the mafia back east. They tell you, you need protection from "undesirables and the common thief" and they can make the road smooth for a few hundred a week, etc...

There were a couple of email inquiries from female "ex" providers promising superior booking/screening, and marketing.  All for the low price of $400 a week.  I said, " So... this means I have to take one for the team once a week or pay whether I get business or not????  You sound like nothing more than a polished up pimp.".  It's true. Call a spade a spade.  Can you believe that they wanted to be paid whether they booked me out or not???
