A couple of comments:

1) In any business, the sales does not equal the profit.  If the woman is doing incall, money goes to hotel rooms, etc.  There are of course other various expenses incurred by women.

2) I do not have any hard facts so I cannot speculate but I am sure that a reasonable percentage is overhead that the women needs to spend to keep the business going.

3) This overhead is more than most people can imagine, and involves things that peole do not consider.  Things like:  Child Care; Private Health insurance; Gasoline and car expenses or drivers; and many other things I cannot even imagine.

4) Furthermore, there is much more time involved in appointments than just the hour or so you pay for.  Typically the woman spends many hours just making/screening/administrative work, and also preparing for appointments.  This involves much more time, and as we all know, time is money..

5) Taxes:  The federal government is quite eager to collect its fair share of income.  Any woman who wishes to stay legal needs to somehow either report at least some of the income, or have some sort of other income to justify living expenses.

So Bottom line, The amount of income is a far cry from the actual profit that anybody makes doing this business.

Maybe I'm thinking too much for my own good/pleasure, but:

The women I see who tour cities, and have schedules listing daily availability, they aren't just moonlighting, yes?

So if they want a starting NYC teachers salary of $30,000, they have to make approx. 100 appts./year?

And that's an indie, at $300/hr.

Just pondering...

A provider that I am familiar with makes about $2500 in a week in donations and tips on average. The math on that says if she works 48 weeks and takes on month off, she will clear 120k tax free. Now, if 30k is all you are looking for, then I would advise that someone that working conditions are better in a regular job and not under someone with body odor, bad breath, and cigarette smoke. As for the ladies who say they only take one appointment per day, we I guess they are taking no days off.

Is this the truth or astute marketing by some ladies?

I see one client a day and occasionally two, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Yes some of us girls do just see one a day, and not everyday either. I noticed that alot of guys don't seem to mind it though and offer to see me after they know I have another date, but I usually decline. I definetly don't like going from one client right to the next. It reminds me of working for an agency!

If you treat your clients right, you don't need more than one a day mabey 3-5 days a week. Some guys book more hours than others, etc.

I'm either reasonably correct in my numbers, or:

Many providers have other work, be it dancing, temping, etc..

or maybe well-liked providers have a substantial number of multiple-hour appts?

10 meetings a month seems like a lot of scheduling, logistics, and potentially less than pleasant clients for the sum.

I've only talked about this with one lady, and she has fairly severe vertigo, which limits her work options, regardless of education, etc...

The end-all point of this is that I'd feel a lot more comfortable seeing someone who just needs some occasional work, though that would seem a much harder situation to find.

thanks for any input - the site has been extremely helpful.

In seems that many of the traveling ladies that do 3 weeks on the road, 1 week at home debunk these ideas... have rarely heard theladies complain... on a recent visit this particular provider had a wad of at least 3k (arrive Tuesday, left Sunday AM)and this she explained was dues to several no-shows.

1. Most guys don't stay the full hour
2. She hardly works; if new client, no BBBJ, DFK, DATY whatever
3. She gets tips: $50 plus per visitor or more
4. She schedules 1 AM and one PM; no more than 3 in a day
5. Gets taken out to dinner; no favors requested
6. Rotates her travel to 6 cities (Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Detriot, and home city).

This is an "average" provider;; someone that really does nothing that special except takes care of appearance; better than average eye candy; light dom. and straight up mish... no anal cream pies, per wierd fetish play... So unless I am missing something, I think she's not doing to poorly...

I think the 2-Girl system works best; someone you can trust is invaluable. You and WWK would make a great pair and the 3somes could be dynamite... Most of all, she'll have your back as any town has it's obstacles, but I think the formula is very simple: Provide a great service; provide a great service; provide the best service... In the hot markets, news travels fast via the local boards. Now, LA was always a bit of hit or miss for me. Not really knowing anyone, I got too much bait and switch for my liking; though I made the best of my visit.

It is not uncommon for popular providers in cities such as Las Vegas to make $20-30,000 per month. I know several in this category.
