one bit of information about me that is on your NEVER ask list seems to be common knowledge among many providers & hobbyists.

Did I miss something here?  I can't find any reviews on Jade. I did a search on "Jade" in "Chicago".  Got a couple of returns but none were "THE" Jade.  Were the reviews taken down?

When you do a search for Jade, it comes up with 6 Jade's:

4/8/2004   Ashley Jade 847 Chicago Massage Parlor Incall Massage
2/8/2004   Jade 312 Chicago my hotel Incall/Outcall Escort/Massage
10/24/2003   Jadee 312 Chicago Western Suburbs Outcall Escort/Massage/S&M
8/8/2003   TS Jade 912 Chicago down town chicago Incall/Outcall Escort/Massage
4/15/2002   Jade

"I have asked ALL of the review boards to take down/delete ALL of my reviews ...
Many clients lead private lives outside of this "business" and I respect their privacy as they do mine, and would like to keep it that way!

I do not believe in "boasting", "bragging", "airing" and/or "posting" of the business meeting details. Details of meetings held are of no one else's business, but of mine and the client, as I feel that what goes on in the meetings are PRIVATE/DISCREET/CONFIDENTIAL and should remain that way! '

Apparently Jade's clients did not share her thoughts regarding details of meetings, otherwise they would not have posted about them.

A client has every right to discuss an appointment with whoever he chooses.  While I agree that many clients like to "brag" and "boast" in their reviews, others use it as a means of "consumer reports". I read reviews to find out if a certain provider is the right girl for me.  That means she provides specific services I want.

It's funny how some providers seem to want the entire hobby culture to revolve entirely around their personal preferences.  It's considered taboo to ask a provider prior to a meeting about the specific services she provides.  When a client asks at the appointment, she is supposed to consider him to be LE.  And now that we aren't allowed to post these details in a review, how the hell are we supposed to know what to expect from the lady during our appointment??

Jades exceptional reputation is what got her the business she has.  Without the reviews, her business would not be as lucrative.  Jade seems to be like Vanessa Sue... use the site to build a business, then want to dump it once it's served to benefit her.

It would be nice to see a website that caters to the client's wishes for a change.

Last I checked, it still works.

If you want a website that caters to the your wishes and treats the provider like she doesn't exist, doesn't have feelings, and doesn't have a say about HER reviews, try www.realdoll.com

I agree.  However, since your opinion is the same as mine, her white nights are going to bash you!!

I completely agree with Thomas Jenkins.  Without clients a provider has no business.  Without repeat business a provider has no reputation.  If you are not professional in your work then a reputation will be even harder to come by.

We all  know that providers have their own network and communicate and discuss us regular clients - look at the need for references from other providers.

Why should a double-standard be acceptable?

I had my reviews pulled and I know of several ladies who either have pulled them or considered pulling them.  WHY?  Although I pulled mine because of semi-retirement, many ladies have their reviews pulled because sometimes the graphic nature is a little TOO graphic or way too many false reviews are posted. Boasting and bragging?  You betcha.

Providers may check references but they NEVER ask details like penis size, DATY and kissing style and whether viagra was used.  I have posted reviews of clients.  Guess what?  I have NEVER disclosed private details. Ever.  And none of the providers I know discuss details either.  Besides, when clients are discussed, its never public anyway...unlike review boards.

Double standard?  I don't think so.

And it wasnt me or anyone I know who made it commonplace.

...but you'd have to be a little naive to believe that just because you don't do it, then all other providers "NEVER" ask about personal details.  You can't convince me that if a client had an exceptionally small or large endowment, that it wouldn't come up in conversation with some providers.  The same goes for techniques or idiosyncracies that may be unusually good or bad. People in the same business share stories about their business.  the classy and respectful ones, keep the informaton to themselves.

I don't particularly like a double standard either but what can be done about it?

Personally, I prefer seeing reviewed providers and if a lady wants no reviews, that makes it tougher for me but not impossible. If she's willing to help me contact past clients privately, then I can do my homework, although a lot more slowly.

If a provider has stellar reviews and none-the-less wants them pulled, it is only herself that she winds up harming. At least it seems that way to me. Ever since I discovered this tool, I NEVER see providers that have not been reviewed. Money is just too damned hard to come by for me nowadays and I cannot afford to take the chance on throwing away cash on a crappy date. Now, that is not to say that I have not seen providers with great reviews that were less then stellar in my opinion, but with an unknown commodity, you never know one way or the other.

I think the value or TER is greatly diminished if reviews are not allowed for anyone, since it is the primary purpose of the forum.  If an escort requests that their reviews be taken down, at the very least, a report of when it occurred and how many reviews they had, and the TER private emails of the members who have seen the provider should come up.

That way, you at least know that was what occured and can then make your judgements about whether or not to pursue the appointment.

The board will quickly degrade into only a positve, very general review site othrwise.  The revews are entertainment only and protected by free speech rights, so caving to the threats/requests of providers is simply a tactic to avoid any possible hassles.

Even if you tried to post a review of her, or anyone else whose profile is no longer active on this board, they will not allow it!  Bunch of BS when a provider can pick a choose when they want their reviews (positive and/or negative) available.

When did it become that guys only have all the say and can dictate to us?? A provider has every right to request no public reviews to protect her against incrimination, and to protect her privacy. If you don't like it, no one's forcing you to see her! Like someone else mentioned, you can always backchannel!

This is a provider's business... but this is a Client's website (or at least was once).  The only advantage to a paid VIP membership to TER is access to the details in the reviews.  Everything else here (except for banner advertisment) is free. A provider doesn't have anything to gain for her paid membership (unless she wants to read what others are saying about her).

The complaint by clients is that we are paying for a service... basically information... and now that service has diminished because some of the information we are paying for is being deleted.  It's kinda like buying a year subscription to Playboy and then learning Hefner is going to eliminate the pictorials after he receives your check.

I know that a VIP membership can be attained by contributing 2 reviews a month, but how can a guy do that if they aren't accepting reviews about certain providers? ... we are being cheated again.

It would be nice to see ONE website that is Client only and access solely to the desire of the client.  There are provider only websites out there... it's only fair we get one too.

Actually it was SMD's comment "Bunch of BS when a provider can pick a choose when they want their reviews (positive and/or negative) available." that I was referring to. There are many times serious and valid reasons why providers may want their reviews removed; and they should not be made to feel guilty.

Oh, but it was ok for a provider to request a review when she is trying to build up her business.  Now once the business is up and running, she pulls them stating for privacy purposes.  Sounds like taking advantage of the system.  If privacy was such an issue, why do providers request for the reviews to be posted in the beginning when they was new to the business?

Most of the clients PAY for membership to TER so that WE can get information on a provider before we see them.  VIP membership to this board is for clients to access the reviews, just like on another board the providers have access to their own board which gives details of provider's reviews of clients.  Since you feel that a provider has the right to remove her reviews, then we should be able to have the reviews of ourselves removed too for "privacy purposes".  But that wont happen because too many providers will complain that the reviews are there for thier protection.  Well, the reviews of providers are here for our protection too!!

But ultimately, it is the client's decision if they want to post a review or not on a pay site for clients.  If this was a free site, I understand your point, but this is not.

Who runs this site anyway?  A provider?

If a provider wants privacy by removing reviews, then that provider should be baned from posting to that board along with all threads about that provider started by someone else (either positive or negative).  That is the only way she would get her privacy!!

If that happens, the privacy excuse after asking for reviews for years, would be believable
