END OF MESSAGE

It used to be that if someone submitted a Problem Report on a profile that it would be "locked" or prevented from having another PR submitted and a message would pop up about something like: "A Problem Report has already been submitted.  Please check back in 24-48 hours and if there is still a problem, submit another report."  Or however it was worded.

They changed that a few backs so the first Prob Rep does not lock out more Prob Reports.  I think TER should switch back to the old system with the lock out.

I spent a lot of time collecting and comparing URLs, phone numbers, pics, etc. to "prove" there was a problem with a freshly posted (top page one on my local city list of Reviews) and a few days later I'm told that my report was a duplicate.   That was time that could have been better spent reading reviews and making appointments!

It would save US from wasting time duplicating effort and save TER time from having to read multiple PRs saying the same thing if they went back to the "PR locks out more PRs" system.

I hope that others who agree will chime in here.

Thank you

If there is an open problem report the provider's profile is still locked until that report is acted on .What you are referring to is a lag that occurs as submitted problem reports are waiting to be processed.  It's happen to me a number of times over the years.  It's annoying but the system is not perfect.

Hi 57.  (I'm another boston guy, but no number.)

I think something HAS changed.  Several times, I've submitted a PR, had the status updated to "N/A" (which is more like "pending not accepted YET" than "rejected not accepted") and I can still pop up a new PR form.  It was not that way in the past because I've had "N/A"s and wanted to submit a revised or additional problem and I got the pop-up message: "PR has already been submitted."  (When that happened, I'd go straight to "Contact Us" to give them the updated info and refer to the pending N/A PR submission.)

Once again, it's not the same behavior from my logins.  Something is different
