I don't believe you need the same protection giving DATY as a provider giving BBJ. For one, the risk is lower for DATY than for BBJ. Also, unless you're seeing a provider everyday you're not putting yourself at risk that often.
I love giving DATY, in fact I find it more exciting than FS most of the time. Maybe because I'm middle aged I see life in a new perspective than when I was younger. I could have a heart attack tomorrow, get in a car wreck and become paralyzed, get prostate cancer and lose the joy of sex altogether. So if I catch some STD, it's a small price to pay for such a great joy in my short life.

Most providers will not give a bj unless they put on a condom. This is very smart and I aggree with it 100% It nice to play together...and to play nicely is great fun for me as a client!!!!!!!! (grin)

just go for it boy, it won't hurt you a bit, you don't wear a rain coat in the shower, do you? DATY is probably the least riskiest thing you can do in this hobby, so enjoy.
Not too many providers service clients with bbj. Most (and with good reason) do a cbbj. I totally respect that and ask for it if a session starts to go the other way.

I agree with Elvish. In my experience most providers have done BBBJ. I never asked for it they initiated it on their own.
So hobbyist who used condoms because they are scared of getting an STD if they go bareback should quit the hobby? We all have different levels of fear in this hobby and each one of us should take the appropriate action for ourselves to mitigate this fear so we can fully enjoy the hobby.
My experience (wholly unscientific as to statistics) has been that about 80 - 90% of providers will do BBBJ unless the client specifically requests CBJ, with the remainder going the CBJ route be default. There's been a lot of discussion about the pros and cons of it around here in the last couple of months, but the overall consensus seems to be that uncovered oral sex is a pretty low-risk activity (though not no risk). To quote Mathesar: 'the only totally safe sex is sex with an uninfected partner'.

It easy to say that now when you are STD free, but if you get HIV, even in middle age, you may be singing a different song.
Thank you soooooo much. I really miss giving oral...but dateing for me is long gone. Woman today are love their "independence" that they forget the to be in relationship is to be "dependent" upon the other from a different point of view.
I use to believe in being a "one woman man". After sooooooooo many heartbreakes, I give up. Providers are sooooooooooo much more easy to deal with.
