I had schedualed a 2 hr. appointment with one of the top five provider a month ahead of time.
She sent me an e mail telling me that she is looking forward to see me on such an such date( which was a month away). After a month, i wrote to her a day before our appointment with no response from her. It was an incall appointment and I had no address to go to! On the day of the appointment, I wrote her again about little over an hour before our appointment time, and got no response !!!! She is , as I said, one of the top five, very well revied provider. I am still confused !!!!

When I make an appointment with a gal a month or so out, I always check in at least a week ahead of time and then the day before as well.

Many things come up and sometimes notifying you is not a big priority of hers.

Well, Now I know..that I was not that important..lol.   I thought , atleast, a very well- reviewed provider would have some decency to let me know. Isn't this all about Customer service???

don't be too hard on the lady.  I'm not trying to defend what she did, but it's always a good idea to know all the facts before rendering a judgement.  You are right, you would think a well-reviewed provider would have been more considerate, but you never know.  While I gave you a very likely reason for what she did, it could very well have been something in her personal life that precluded her from responding.  You just don't know all the facts yet.

I'd say wait a while till you get over your disappointment, and try contacting her for an explanation.  Then make your judgement depending on her response, or lack thereof.

stuff like that happens.  The most likely reason is that she probably got a better offer and blew you off.  I understand scheduling far ahead of time, but I also think you waited too late to confirm with her.  I think you should have contacted her maybe a week in advance of the date.  That way, you have some to play with if she does not respond immediately.

Yeah, it sucks that she treated you that way, but it is one of the hazards of the hobby.  It happens on both sides of the counter.  When it does, you just have to move on.  Just because she is considered a top provider is no guarantee that she will come thru for you.  Learn from the experience.

...like dog years, baby!  They've got so much going on that they do more in one month than hobbyists do in seven.  You have to confirm a week in advance to give you a chance for a second choice in case her plans have changed.

to contact her 1 week before the appointment to reconfirm and 1 day before to make sure it's still on. It's not that much work and it can give you plenty of time to look alternative if you don't get a response. One can never know nor predict the future so it's best to leave room for adjustment.

i doubt this scenario..top five providers DO NOT conduct business this way..with the rates they charge and reputation to uphold..they simply do not forget appointments and always are reliable..

macdaddy, it did happen ! I had also tought that one of the top five would not conduct business this way, However, after reading responses from all of you I do agree that I did not contact her a week before just to make sure, so being a newbie, it's my faullt ! In my business world, I would always keep my appointment and If I can't , then i would let the other party know about it, even if it is at the last moment. It's just a courtsey. Anyway, i think i learned enough and Thank you all.
