I believe most of those 'gift card' credit cards don't work for membership. You can try 'trustcash.' I have not used it but many have. They say it is simple and anonymous. It has been discussed on this board. Try searching. You dhould be anle to find info here.

Hey Sarah, maybe you should think about getting a prepaid debit card.  I got one because I'm really bad at over drafting my bank account.  I wouldn't recommend green dot as I had one and they shut it off because I was using it for "business related expenses" but the walmart one works pretty well.  You go there and reload it with cash.  It's kind of hard to do anything these days without some kind of card, and hotels look at you funny if you try to pay with cash.
