There are plenty of good providers... and scammers...  TER's reason for existing is to help separate them out.  Knowing what to watch for can help avoid being taken.  Please add ones I've missed!

Bait & Switch... ads with pictures not her own or seriously out of date or sends another provider

Runner or 'cash & dash' Grabs the cash & bolts for the door.

Runner or 'take off' After recieving the cash, announces she left the condoms in the car, goes out to get them & runs. (Never comes back)

Runner After recieving cash, does not have condoms, you drive her to the store, she runs...  

Runner You drive her to the store to buy condoms, asks for cash for condoms, runs.  

Runner After recieving cash, does not have condoms, you drive her to the store, you wait outside, she tells the clerk a story (coersion, pressure etc) is let out another door... she runs...

She promises/implies services which are withdrawn from menu after payment. (This refers mainly to large scale changes)

The switchero First review BBBJ, later customers CBJ.

Reviewed: Link to TER or other reviews. Take he time to read the reviews. Existance of reviews does not mean they are good reviews!

Up sell: She collects payment for session & suddenly services are extra cost.

The Banker: Asks for cash advances or loans, sometimes to be worked off or repaid in cash... then refuses your calls or disappears.

Thief: When you are not looking, items or cash disappear.

Scout: After appointment your residence is burlarized...  using knowledge of the location, your hours, sometimes leaving a door or window unlocked.    

A provider finds out too much personal information about you, and threatens to post or give out your information to who ever (job, media, family) in exchange for money.

I was more looking to share the scams with the Newbies...  

Yes, I always see well reviewed ladies & full research...  and still bring my own condoms, just in case.  

15 minutes into the session, the driver starts banging on the door and yelling. The girl acts scared. The client lets her go so he can "protect her" from getting beat up.

It's all pre-planned and she's in on it with him.

I had heard about this from someone who had it happen to them.

Another one is "I need to pay my driver" and just asks for part of the donation and goes out to pay him, but doesn't return.

I'm sure there are more that involve a driver.

I saw a rip off review for incall where the girl met the guy at his car at a complex and told him her roommate just showed up and asked him to wait for a minute. She asked for the donation right then and gave him her cell phone as "collateral" so he would trust her. But she didn't even live there and the cell was just a dummy trac phone. She took off with a driver on the other side of the building before the guy realized was was going on.

I had a girl ask for hotel money which of course would have gone toward the agreed donation. She went in to get a room and must have exited another. Cost me $.

I would also limit the amt of cash and cards u bring into the appointment too (I do this with the gym and some other public places just in general) and then this way there's less to keep an eye on. Also just be cognizant of where ur stuff is and then u should be ok (eyes are ur first line of defense).

I always bring a fresh 3 pack in sealed box...  & leave any excess.  You should never have just one.  What it it needs replacing before you finish?  What if you want to go a second cup?

BTW, if a provider gets a room just to see you...  it is what ever is agreed to.  Sometimes, the client reimburses (in cash) while the provider gets the room.  (Provider has a day job, sees you after hours & is not going to see other clients after you...  to spread the cost.)
 
If it's an incall, the provider pays...  but she has the room for the day & likely will see others to spread the cost.
