I visited Bucharest last year but did not hobby as I was there to see one lady. However, the women in Romania are just amazing. I had to contain my head from acting like it was on a swivel when we went out.
I had my guide to help me out so not sure how you would make out alone without knowing the language. Most of the young people speak some english but older people don't speak a word as they were taught Russian in school.
