These providers here on TER, most of them are well reviewed and are reputable. With BackPage, its not. Those BackPage providers don't offer the same type of services as these girls here. That is, they will treat you like a number and they are on to the next client. Do you see where I am going with this?
As for me, I don't limit myself to just TER ads. I search everywhere, including BackPage, cityvibe, p411, datecheck, agencies, and Eros. If I limit myself to just the ads here in my local boards, then I find myself just settling for what's available. I don't settle. Also, BackPage girls offer me a different selection in women that I don't normally get.
I sometimes like to change my selections. For example, I like big booty girls, and I can't get that here on TER. Sure, there are some, but not much. With BackPage, there is more variety IMO. Some well reviewed providers do post on BackPage temporarily, I've seen plenty of them. They do this because BackPage is another avenue of advertising to reach other demographics. Not all hobbyist know and view TER ads. TER ads is actually limited and produce a small visit if compared to BackPage ads. If you look at the views, the average views of a TER ad is about 800 views (sure, it can be more or less, this is from my observation). There was a provider that added a feature of views in her backpage ad, and in one day, she had over 16,000 views in the Washington DC area.
I like BackPage, but I like it because I have experienced it enough to know who to call and who not to call. There are many scams, ripoffs, and lack luster providers in BackPage. Some of my favorite providers post on BackPage, you just have to know who to call and who not to call.
Because of the stigma for BackPage, that is, the ripoffs, scams, lack luster providers, providers that have pimps, providers supporting their drug habits, and the list goes on, some of these hobbyist don't see these girls. But, in reality, some hobbyist do, but don't post reviews about them or post a review under an alias. Their egos and prestige prevent them from posting reviews or saying anything positive about them., yet, some of these guys do see BackPage providers. They don't want providers and hobbyist checking their reviews and seeing that they see backpage providers because of its stigma.
