Dear Julia-  I am curious to hear your wisdom on the subject of how best to avoid STDs from the perspective of a provider.  Possible subjects : how often to get tested, where to get teted, what acts are the most unsafe, what physical signs to look for on yourself or your partner.  I find that while MDs can answer these questions, I never seem to get the kind of real world advice that I'd like.
