It has definitely been limiting us lately. I had something great to post yesterday and of course I couldn't post it after the theme got started and not many ladies where able to.

Hep, why don't you start it for us? You know you can right?

...the first one to post like the lady who has been making up theme days, i mean starting theme days the last week or so. What ever photo is handy & what she's wearing in it is the "theme" for the day. She eliminates most of the competition for her "stand alone ad" on the regional board.

Pretty cunning if you ask me.

Get up early & stat it.

It's the same old tired pictures anyway that the same girls post.

Listen this is not about you or me, its about the board & not doing the same thing over & over Again. I want to have some fun on here for the Gents & with the ladies . Its not personal "step up & set a theme" There are days I wait to post to let others do it! . Now when it comes to themes don"t just look theme  & get upset,  Open your mind & get creative. Example  "mask".

Theme Day Guidelines:
Guidelines for posting Theme Day Threads on TER are listed below. TER staff/Admin may, at their discretion and judgment, remove any post that, in their opinion do not follow these guidelines. Abuse of these guidelines can result in the poster being moderated.

- Thread should be started by a local provider or local agency only
- Only 1 photo theme per day
- Only local providers, local agencies and visiting providers with an active visiting ad may participate

Just my opinion, but I MUCH prefer the candid, mobile photos over the same old studio photos.  They are a lot of fun to look at.

I like that . It would make it fun for everyone "gents &  ladies". I think that would be cool to get everyone's input "I would love to know what the hobbyist would like to see". So I'm Game! Well see what everyone else thinks!!!???

You bring up a valid point Hep.  IMO, the root issue is that no one seems to want to take the proverbial lead on this.  My take is that neither indies nor agencies want to come across as telling others what to post in terms of themes.  

And I personally agree the glam shots are starting to become tired reruns - nice reruns, but tired nonetheless.  As a hobbyist, I would prefer the validation of an amateur cell phone photo that is current over a glam shot that may be prettier but perhaps not as current.

As for this week - here are some suggestions for the remainder of the week.  If no one wants to accept them - okay, I have thick skin and am getting used to the ladies ignoring me - sniffle, whine

Wed 4/25  Wet Wednesday - meaning swim apparel or shower pics

Thurs 4/26 Tata Thursday (what can I say, I like the perky nipple look)

Fri 4/27 Freaky Friday - posting with your favorite toy (could be a stuffed animal or a recent purchase from the Liberator collection)

Sat 4/28 Sinful Saturday - who doesn't like the come hither pose or look

Sun 4/29 Seductive Sunday - seduce us in your fav lingerie pics

But if we really want to make the theme day threads fun for all - someone (and my vote would be for that someone to be a hobbyist) should post on Friday suggestions for the following week's themes.  Fridays are usually slow on the board and this would give other hobbyists and ladies a chance to offer input. Then, whoever suggested the themes would factor in the group's input and post the theme the night before the following day.  Just a thought - I'll crawl back to my lurker den now.

For some reason this board seems to be the only one on the site not capable of handling theme days, understanding them, and sticking to some kind of structure.
Trying to get people to understand how they needed to work, and be fair to all, was like trying to corral a bunch of cats in a cardboard box. Lots of noise, scratching, and occasional brief compliance......but always ending up with a bunch of kitties losing focus and going off to do their own thing again.

Hope you have better luck than I did.....LMAO!

One agency seems to always ust the same ol same ol. even using pics of a girl not even there or avalible.  GZEESSSS

There are no misguided boards, only misguided volunteer moderators. I am sure others will succeed in this endeavor where some have failed. Much like in everything else in life, the key is not to exhibit a "Do as I say, not as I do" attitude.

You erred, among other things, in adopting a "one size fits all" approach. Just because something works well elsewhere does not necessarily mean that it will or even should be implemented in another location.

Just do away with the friggin' theme days since either:
1. Most agencies still won't do anything other than throw up the first pic they find...then come up with a lame "theme" for it.
2. People are unable to manage the concept of simple, repeatable, themes that are open to everyone. Dancing? Makeup? Sunny?!?!?
How about WTF day? Or "F it...it's free advertising" day? It makes just as much sense as any others.

Theme days: like anyone really cares what the theme is if there's a hot semi-naked lady displayed? I edited out the rest as I'm not hiding under an alias.  

Someone to say this is how it will be done and that's that.
Now we have providers setting their alarm clocks just to start a theme? Providers bickering over the titles? Only in ATL!

They cause more issues than they are worth......and its sad that most boards these days RELY on them to have some form of conversation taking place.

Give them a rest for a few weeks, and I'm sure other topics will take their place.

And let the individuals be creative.  Anyone can take anything and make it boring or they can be creative about it.

Keep it simple and who ever wants to be the theme day star will be the one who puts the effort and thought into it.

Just my thoughts and opinion.....I like to participate sometimes and when I can but I certainly don't think my life depends on it.  It's supposed to be fun.

I couldnt agree more! Its suppose to be fun, impulsive and ofcoarse new.  It IS up to the individual to be creative IMHO. It also gives the ladies with the newest and hottest pics to flaunt what they've got! I think more and different ladies will start the threads then. Thats what we want right? New and sexy pics! I sure like to see a lady proud of her new pics and flaunt what she has!

As long as it's not the same picture every time I'm good with it. There is one picture I've seen more than once and I didn't mind as it's an excellent photo and very hot. But it's the only one that hasn't gotten old and it would eventually.

Is that we love looking at beautiful women, just that simple.  So keep it simple  

We like variety, both in women & different 'shots' of the same woman.

I love what bwcoyote suggested, but we all know after a few weeks or so it will become to much trouble for most of us and then it will fall apart.....bottom line we just want to LOOK!    we don't want to work

Also like Mike form GCE says, "the boards are a way for the providers to show them self's off".  But like some others have said (provider & hobbyist alike) you seem to get the same old 'glamour shots' over and over.  Even though we like to LOOK, seeing the same pic over doesn't hurt, but it sure doesn't raise my interest as much as seeing a fresh shot of a beautiful women I've got saved in my "favorites"!

There are a few (agencies & ind's) that continually post 'phone pic', while they don't have the best lighting or clarity, I DO LOVE then the best.

If the pictures of each provider are constantly changing, then the theme is really irrelevant.

Prefer different themes, really don’t give a hoot about theme but different photos adds variety and makes agency owners to come with new photos which is the objective.

TER did post something not allowing same photos.

One, two, three agency owners starts screaming when they don’t get their way.

allow just posting photos and F*** theme. Some Cell phone pictures are worthless crap!!!!

The photo threads on the "Over 60" board are working well.  

Ever Thursday, between the designated hours, ladies post a sexy pic.  
The gents start a separate thread for comments on the pics.  

It's once a week, usually the pics are different, and it's usually a very long thread.   That's why they make a separate comments thread.

BUT am guilty of reusing pics... dont always have brand new or themed.... so... but usually not more than twice oopz...
