Candids

Hello everyone! I've been playing around with photos on my iPhone and to me and my girlfriend who also provides...they look pretty damn good!

Whenever I'm browsing online, I get most intrigued by the ladies that have professional and candids. Professional photo quality varies and the retouching can sometimes add more or take things away from the picture. So this is why the candids intrigue me. Of course, good balance is key.

What are your thoughts on candid pics? Is there such a thing as TOO many candid photos? Looking forward to your thoughts.

What is important are clear, bright pictures that show a woman's ENTIRE body. Candid or in jeans. Nothing more irritating to me are pictures that just show a given body part and that makes up most of the portfolio.  Even for BBW, to show 20 pics or your face, or just a close up of your chest...ugh.  There is a market for everyone, so even if you blur your face, show your body.

I like images that show ladies in their best light.  A few candids are cool if it shows something fun and flirty outside of the portrayal of your professional images.
Candids become less candid imo if they become your sole source of advertising.

Good candids can be a great way to show something of the provider's personality, which is important to me.  Professional photos are often more about the photographer than the provider.  That said, show the whole body.

As I look through my latest photos, I'm thinking...this is more about the photographer's direction than me. If only I were a professional model that poses on a regular basis!

I can take photos of myself with a tripod, my macbook, ipad, iphone, a nikkon camera and get more of "me" out there than the photographer can (unless they are the best of the best...some photographers are amazing!).

The whole body is a must, the more angles the better. I'm excited about pictures going forward. My friend is a model and she's "training" me so that I 'deliver' during professional photoshoots. I'm going to play with candids over the next few weeks and see how it goes.

I like a mix of professional and candid photos. Pro photos can use a lot of trickery candids, not as much. Plus, I think you can tell a lot about personality based on candids. Presumably, when taking then posting a candid, you're posting what YOU think is sexy. If that matches MY idea of sexy, it feels like a win-win.

When I see certain body parts omitted from a photo gallery, it tells me she's trying to hide something.  Also, ditch the black and whites... everyone looks good in B&W... that too tells me you're trying to hide something... like a poor complexion.

It is important to have candids.  Having all professional grade photos, such as those from Clic Studio, tell me that you simply paid someone to make you look good.  Lets face it, the guy from Clic studio can make Roseanne Barr look like Megan Fox.

If you're going to do candids, DONT use your iphone and stand in front of the mirror.  Bathrooms and bedrooms have poor lighting and those photos come out grainy as hell... doesn't tell me what I need to know.   Shoot those shots outside with someone else holding the camera.

Last... we aren't interested in your feet, your back, the tattoo on the back of your neck which means something to you... those photos aren't going to get us to call and make an appointment. Neither will an extreme close-up of your cleavage.  Like OnePerDay said, we want to see the entire body in a shot... it shows proportions.
