I knew a woman that was a cab driver and on her first day, she was told where to take people if they wanted a "happy ending massage" or an escort (even drugs).....and collect a nice fee for it.

So, why take them to a place where they know they'll get robbed?

Between this and the long-hauling, I wouldn't trust a single cabbie in this town.....not to mention the fact many of them will tell you a strip club is closed, when it's not, because they don't offer pay-outs and then divert them to a club that does.

Because the cabbies get paid some pretty good money to take the suckers to the clip joints...

Supposedly up to $200 for a tourist that spends a lot of money there according to one Cabbie that was interviewed by the local news.

People drive cabbies to make money... and that's the only reason to be a cabbie especially considering some of the crap they go through in Vegas. Drunks, arseholes, etc, etc..

Google Vegas Cabbie Chronicles for a cabbie that had some good writing skills and would blog about all of the crap he went through on an average night.

Pretty entertaining...
