had one of funnier moments of the year when John Lackey finally got to start because of injury, threw two pitches, and got ejected!

is that the shortest start in Major league history?  I mean can be many the got eject before the game or after one 1 pitch! lol

What a way to write yourself into the history books!  The ump was like a little kid(impatient) the second pitch was closer to the plate! LOL

I think Don Newcombe of the old Brooklyn Dodgers was ejected one time before ever throwing a pitch for arguing with an umpire.
