I saw a provider a while back in my city that has since moved to LA. She was an upcoming porn actress and is now appearing in more films. Her updated P411 page states she offers video/photo with consent. I E mailed her about it and she responded but obviously did not elaborate.

I was hoping a provider that offers video or someone who has done this before can shed some light on how that works exactly? Would I be holding the camcorder the whole time POV style?

for the most part, it's actually kind of distracting, especially trying to do the video.  For my money, if I'm in the mood to memorialize things, I stick with photos or short vids on my camera phone.  This way, I can concentrate more on being in the moment and really enjoying the experience!  Kinda makes sense, having your attention divided cuts into your mental processing.  That's why they don't want you drinking or texting when driving!

And yes, unless you have a tripod or a friend who's going to film it, you're kinda stuck with the POV thing! I did film a session for Alexandra Quinn when she was still providing and it was fun as hell!  Did a fine job too, if I do say so myself!

Try to get a mini-tripod if u can, this way u can place it somewhere steady (like the bedside table or the coffee table) and then focus on the task in hand. If u want to hold it POV that works too, but yes it is true to an extent ur attention will be divided (although the reward there is down the road u can always relieve it). Def use caution when saving and storing footage, don't want any accidental Kim K/Ray J mis-haps (esp if u have a SO).....otherwise enjoy!

Basically you take the video or photos yourself and let the porn star know what you want to catch (on video/photo). Some will require a higher donation for this type of souvenir, others won't. You generally have to ask before the appointment but some porn stars are cool as long as you ask first. As for indy providers, if they don't mention this in their ad or website don't even attempt to ask about it. Remember discretion is utmost important to indy providers.

As others mentioned you would either do a POV or have a tripod setup with the camcorder recording if you want your hands free.
