I had a provider ask me to write a review as part of our email exchange in the appointment set up. It was done in a tasteful way saying that if I wouldn't mind it was very helpful in keeping her current and that it really helps. I'd say it works since she has 168 reviews in 3 years.  I don't think I've ever had a provider ask me in person for a review. I don't think I would mind if that happened at the end of our session but that's just me. I'm happy to write reviews. I think if you also offered to be a good reference or whitelist someone while asking for a review that might motivate your clients to help you out too.

It's certainly OK to ask as far as I'm concerned.  A very well reviewed and highly rated provider said to me as I was about to leave a session with her, "it would be fine if you'd like to write a review."

Don't be surprised if some don't know about TER. You may have to tell them about it. Be sure it doesn't appear that you are pressuring them to write one.

Possibly you could state on your website that honest reviews are encouraged and appreciated.

Good Luck and welcome.

Hey Abigail,

Just ask the hobbyist to post a review of you on The Erotic Review. This is assuming that the hobbyst is a member of TER, he should be able to do it with no issues.

You can mention your request for a review AFTER the session is over. I believe someone said that you don't want that review request to potentially spoil the session if you ask beforehand.

Just be warned that you may get a few reviews that you may not agree with, but if the session did happen the way the hobbyist stated, then take it as a lesson and learn from whatever mistakes were made.

Also, watch out for any fake reviews. Make sure you keep a record somewhere SAFE of who you met, how long the session was and a few notes to remind yourself of the session in case it comes up.

I'd recommend that you keep that information on your computer and back it up with an external hard drive. (PM me if you need assistance with that -- I"m a computer geek).

If you are planning to travel to Columbus, Ohio, let us guys know in advance! That's where I am located.

Hello. I am a fairly new provider and love it so far. I am slowly building up my website and learning the ropes of the hobby, and am happy that such resources as this site exist.

My question is how to let clients know that you would appreciate reviews? I have been working as a provider since late February and still haven't had any reviews. I am not sure how best to approach this. Should I mention it in person? Or would that be offensive and/or ruin the intimacy of our session?

I'm especially eager for some reviews, so that I can start participating in the hobby community, as it's one of the few places where we can all share our stories, concerns, etc.

Thanks,
Abigail Durant

I don't know where you are posting ads or how you do your screening but.

Guys that can provide references are probably more likely to know about TER and do reviews.

Sites like P411 and date check tend to have more review ladies than BackPage and I would imaginge getting reviews would be more frequent there.

I have no problem with a provider asking for a review after the session, usually its me asking if the want one.
