I was thinkin that it would be cool, but didn't want to freak some girl out LOL

a Solemn event with a wild romp??
I am thinking of attending a Memorial Day event with some private honoring afterwards... but is it too much to combine the 2 things into one.  I am mostly doing it for convenience, driving an hour to get to that part of town and making the most of it.

It sounds to me like you're thinking way too much about it. If you focus on Memorial Day as a "somber" event.  I mean it's a wild stretch to start inventing reasons not to go after an afternoon/evening snack.

The Promise of America  is freedom of choice.

You are doing 'NO dishonor' by honoring the sacrifices of those who have given their lives and then seeking the comfort of your choice, if that is what you choose to do?

Go have fun, then go and have more fun.

When you are done, you will be no less a Patriot.

Sincerely,
