i always look back and read my old reviews..they are so good i turn myself on..

I try to put a lot of effort to writing a good review. But I am not satisfied yet.
I need more material ;)
When I look back I think I have the number ratings all wrong and of course the prose is bad.
It's the most I've written since college lol

This is on the DC board because that's where I am and that's where my reviews are.

So tell me - how much time do you put into writing a review?
Are you satisfied?

i always look back and read my old reviews..they are so good i turn myself on..

...why I asked this question.
The main question is: are the ratings for looks subjective or objective?

For me they were really subjective. Based on how I felt immediately after.
In the case of my review of Jane though since it was my first, that is way off.
I looked back and wondered why did I put Jane at 8??? She is beautiful!

Should the ratings be subjective? I actually think yes. They should be based on how you feel and what you prefer in women.
So one man could say 10 while another could say 7 because they prefer a different look.

For me, when i'm looking at the pictures online - there's a certain curve to the body that really gets me going - and I wish I knew exactly what it is but I know it when I see it.

So if I were to re-rate their looks: Candy would be a 10 and the rest would be 9. I won't give a 10 anymore unless they exactly that curve I'm talking about - and more. (oh and I only give reviews if the woman wants me to so there are a couple more not on my list) And don't go out and see Candy because I would give her a 10. She worked for a service and she's back in Chile. The "Candy" you would see would be different.

Your thoughts on my question?
Come on DC board let's get active ;)

I think you're correct that appearance is very subjective. I do like to go back and review what I've rated ladies at in previous encounters.  For me, its a moving scale.  The more I see, the more data I acquire to make my choice.  For instance, I may have rated someone higher in my early career because of my lack of experience.  The more ladies I've seen, the "curve" shifts accordingly.

This applies to appearance only.  I think I'm pretty consistent with the performance scores as I know in my mind what makes a great experience.  I feel the ladies I've rated as 10 on performance truly deserved their rating.

As I look back, I feel there is only 1 person who I would change. I actually contacted her about giving her a new review; but she told me she was getting out of the industry and it wasn't necessary.  An overall class act who I miss.

I do occasionally go back and read old reviews for a few different reasons. One just to help me remember the experience. Also, to check to see if I am being consistent with my ratings. I sometimes think that my numbers might be a little off where they should really be, but the more important thing is that they are consistent against each other. If I have reviewed someone that you have also met and you are checking out my review of someone that you have not met, then as long as my rating are consistent with each other then you can easily gauge how I rated someone against someone that you have met.

....I did re-write one review once with special permission from TER.
It was a little trouble to get the new one posted, but not too bad.

Some reviews I spend a lot of time on, some I just want to get it over with, some ladies I don't bother reviewing at all.  It's more about how busy I am than anything else.

...is the provider herself and I was mostly writing to the client audience.
Need a 50/50 balance maybe

Is there a way to update the review after it's been approved?  There things I'd definitely be interested in modifying as I go back over them...

Send a message through the contact page and ask them if you can submit a different review for that session.

They told me sure.
but then when i did I got an email back saying I couldn't....I sent them the original email granting my request, so they posted the new one and apologized.

A bit of a hassle but it worked.

Thanks for the info, might contact them, nothing major that id change but if my be helpful to others.

I actually spend a chunk of time writing a review. I advise hobbyist to avoid writing reviews for providers you seen once and it was a quick visit. How can you truly measure a provider from a quick stay. At a minimum the requirement should be 30 minutes.

My detail section involves updating the reader on the setup process, the accuracy of the providers photos, environment and each step of the session. I usually add some comic relief in there at times as well.

But I try to be very fair to the provider knowing she may be tired or have dealt with a trying customer prior to me. The one thing I will not tolerate and which will give a provider a bad rating is when they bait and switch, tell me basic acts are off limits i.e cbj or mish, are not clean or just have a stank attitude.

I just started writing reviews a little over a month ago.  I do go back and look at previous reviews.  And I do my best to be objective and consistent.  We obviously have different tastes and much of this is subjective.  A few points:
1) If someone is new, then that person should see at least 10 girls before they write their first review.  You have to have a baseline.  Sometimes it seems like people will be excited (or feel guilty) about the experience and therefore the rating won't be as accurate as it should be.
2) When I read reviews, I put things into context.  Reviews are relative.  I would be more inclined to see a girl that a reviewer rated as a 8/7 if that reviewer seemed like a hard rater as shown by the fact that was the highest or second highest of his 20+ reviews than a girl that was rated a 9/9 by someone who gave inflated ratings to all girls.  Obviously, you still have to consider that some guys will search on looks/performance and only see girls who score at least an 8/8/
3) If I rate a girl higher than I think that most people would, then I tend to note that in the write up.  There are some ladies that everyone will find beautiful and there are some that will resonate with a particular subset of the population.
