Well I started out West and my concerns are in general. I've traveled to the cities you suggested and have had the same issues. I've lowered the rates and it still seems to be an issue. This sucks because I'm actually honest and willing to prove my honesty and service quality however it still seems no one will give me a chance. Would any of you that are established review writers be willing to give me a chance?

Hi there, Eva Kerrion here was wondering if I could get some help with the current issue I'm having. I'm having trouble get clients I've been traveling around for a few months now and have not been able to have success in the cities I've been going to. I'm currently in NYC and have been here for 2days now and it's been horrible. I had one client and when he came he seemed to be more into wondering if there was anyone else in the room. I'm new and not sure how to get around these problems I've been running into. I seem to not be appealing to the clientele as well anyone mind giving me a little advice any feedback would be great.
Yours truly

Where is your review page? Current picture? If you truly want to get a boost on your biz I recommend getting all these things readily available and easy access from clients who may be on the fence about you. Hope my input gives you some ideas :-). Kiss

Leave the bathroom door and closet open with the lights on...

We really need to see your ad to help you.

Do you have any reviews? If not, there's the start. Clients like to see if you really provide good service and if others vouch for you as far as looks, attitude, willingness to please and performance. I looked at your Eros ad, you look very appealing. From a clients perspective I'd say. When your client gets to the room, welcome him with a hug/kiss (whatever you do).  Ask them if they would like a tour of the room in order to get comfortable.  From my experiences I've been most uncomfortable with dark atmospheres where all the lights are low and the doors/curtains are closed. Being upfront with this information will help break whatever tension your client may be feeling and help calm the nerves.

You look very beautiful, but your rates might be part of the problem.

LATSDog665 reads

Its the rate.  Scan Eros in NY and the average seems to be between 300 and 400.  While not everyone knows about TER, some of the providers at the 3xx rate have pages of reviews that are good too.  That helps.

Are my rated to high I've viewed other girls and that seems to be the going rate

You have to price according to the market.  If you came through this area I would see you for 300-350.  Not 500.  It isn't that you are not worth it. It is just too much for me.  You limit your client base a lot at 500, I would think.

One of my favorites, Karla, raised her fee to 460.  I just can't see her now.  The end of a four year, multiple session relationship.

Doesn't look like she took the advice. The rate is still the same on the EROS ad.

Hey there thanks guys I'm super thankful for you advice. Yes it does make you feel as if your not worth it when people tell you to lower your rate. I guess it's just something I have to accept. As far as reviews I know I need them however how do I get someone to at least give me a chance? What bothers me about this the most is that I'm a very honest person and I feel as if my rates reflect my service and my investment put in to assure clients the best service possible. After doing more research I've found out that the "black girls"  have a very bad rep here in NYC and have done horrible things to the clients. Very sorry for that. Also I don't think I'm appealing to the clientele due to the fact I've been here for 4/5days now and haven't had a single client besides the one I described in my earlier post. No calls inquiries or negotiations. Which really puts a strain on a girls confidence and willingness to continue. I think for me in the past if I get a client that pays 300 it doesn't motivate me to give top teir service. And that just me being honest. Will try all options given to me and see what works thanks again I appreciate it

Sadly, "black girls" have a bad rep and have done horrible things to their clients all over the country. I'm not saying that to hurt your confidence or to be cruel, but just to be honest with you and to emphasize how important reviews will be for you. As I said before, the highest rated TS on TER is Rachel, and she's black, and her rate is $500 but she started with a lower rate. Wanting to start out getting top tier money may not be a realistic goal for you. You may "feel" that your service is worth $500, but it seems the market is soundly telling you otherwise. Maybe start out at a lower rate, deliver top tier service, get some great reviews, then raise your rates. It's called working your way to the top, and it's a pretty standard way to do business in every field of employment.

But if $300 doesn't motivate you, don't do it, because you certainly won't build a good reputation by giving mediocre service for $300. Lots of girls give mind blowing sessions for less and are just as pretty as you. Not everyone is cut out for this business.

I completely understand GFE is a highly requested service and have no problem giving that service at a reasonable price

Thanks for all the feedback this definitely helps me understand the business better and gives me a sense of direction. I will continue to tour and travel this year hopefully find a city that I can truly get a true start in and will go from there. As soon as I get approved reviews I will attach them to my TER account.

You need to try and find a new job.... With your qualifications, I wonder how much you could be making in "legitimate " field? Why in the world would I see a new person for $500/hr? Complete insanity .....Yasmin Lee charges $450...and most NYC girls advertise in the $200-300 range and will take less.

Yep, agreed on all counts. Good post.

I agree with pretty much all of the replies so far.  I've been in the game for a while now so I think I speak with a little credibility.  Two issues for sure are the lack of reviews and your rate.  The reviews will come but why start so high with the rate if you are trying to get customers?  $500 (post tax) is a lot of money for many people.  What's frustrating too is that many providers post very high rates and then end up negotiating with clients which just ruins the atmosphere.  I think the logic is that there will always be a few clients who will just accept the posted rate and so the provider ends up making a lot more money off them.  The counter to this logic is that many potential clients just won't call at $500 so you don't even know how many clients you've potentially lost.  This is a problem across the industry.  What makes matters worse is that some providers clearly expect you to negotiate and are fine with it and some get very offended at you and you never know what you're going to get.  I find it strange that some providers find it insulting when you politely ask if they can come down in their rate.  It's not that they are not "worth it" (which I hear a lot), it's that I just can't afford it coupled with I don't know if your rates are real or not because half the industry negotiates and the other half doesn't.  Recently, I, too, had to drop a provider that I've seen many times over the years because she drastically increased her rates.  Sure, I could afford her every now and again, but once I find someone who I click with I'd like to see them more than every now and again.  I might add that a regular client is also normally a good thing for a provider as well.  With regulars there's very low safety and/or LE risks.  Plus regulars are rarely no-shows and occasionally over time, there's also the possibility that a little chemistry develops that makes it more fun for everyone.  That's all for now.  Good luck and hang in there.  Your pics are great and if your service is on par with your pics, provided your rates come down a little, I have no doubt that you will do very well.

Enough fools will show up and say to themselves, "Oh well, it's not the girl in the pix but what the hell, I'm here anyway."

Why SHOULD guys pay $500 to see you...? Think about it from our perspective. If I'm gonna shell out "top tier" money, I want to know that I will have a top tier experience. This business is rife with scammers and BS artists, especially ones with glossy photos. Very few girls deliver a top tier service. Being in the $500 club means you should be something special. The highest rated TS on TER is Rachel, and she charges $500. I see a lot of TS girls and I've only paid that much a few times, and its only been worth it once. You are an unknown, so I wouldn't even think about seeing you for $500.

Your choice of cities could be a problem for you too. NYC is a buyers market, there are a lot of tgirls there. Guys likely have favorites already and aren't thirsty for a good tgirl. Visit Cleveland, Pittsburg, Indianapolis, or any other smaller town that isn't host to one of the largest populations of tgirls in the USA, including a throng of visitors.

As for the guy wondering if there was anyone else in the room, this happens fairly often. Girls will travel with friends and lock them in the bathroom or closet when they work. It's really shitty and annoying.

What makes you think you are not appealing to the clientele? Have there been issues when guys have seen you or is it just that they aren't seeing you...?

You're very pretty, and I applaud you asking for help. Hopefully, you get a good reputation and can charge what you want.

Maybe head dat way.  Lots of good motels by the civic center between 1st and 10th across from the Dairy Queen.  The DQ believe it or not is open for breakfast but they just microwave frozen dinners cooked the night before.  The Rascal Inn will advertise for the free breakfast.  Careful because they have been known to give you a token. The token is for the breakfast at DQ across the street.

Why start in New York where there are literally pages and pages of girls that you are competing with for clients? Look on Eros and travel to some cities devoid of talent, Nashville, St Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston.....find someplace to establish yourself and build a reputation where there are not 100 other legitimate options for clients.

The others are right about the price thing too, you have to establish yourself, with multiple reviews, to ask top dollar. Go west, get off the east coast.

This is the advice I got when I first started traveling a bit 2 years ago, and it has been true so far. The first trip to a city you will always get more calls than subsequent trips for being a "new face". It is crucial to build some reviews on the first trip if you don't have any, and ideally have good chemistry with some clients so they will become regular when you go back. This way you won't have to rely on ads as much later on. Many started out with lower rates than you see now as well, and we would increase it so it reduces the number of calls to match the increase regular clients. It's the ideal way to stay safe and have less stress once you mostly see people with compatible chemistry. If you do find repeating trips slowing down, then consider buying a premium spot on eros. They are very pricey for busy cities like NYC but consider it an investment. You can experiment with other sites too and try find the one that has the most clients compatible with you. Also each city runs on their own schedule, some cities turn into a ghost town in certain seasons/ days of the week.

I avoided traveling at the very beginning for fearing of being too inexperienced. Looking back now, that probably helped me in understanding the likes and dislikes of people, the basics of each city's time and location, as well as having some reviews here on TER.

Interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing. As a client, I'm cautious on seeing visiting girls. There is a risk that the visiting girl wants to see as many clients as possible in the time she is in my city, so is it more likely I will get the "rush" treatment? There is a chance that the visiting girl may never pass through again, so why spend $$$ that isn't building towards an ongoing business relationship? Of course, positive reviews and celebrity status are persuasive enough to take the plunge.

I find the economics of escort travel to be fascinating. I used to keep in touch with a girl that I met when she was passing through my city. At some point after, she visited Los Angeles. She told me it was bone dry there. No calls. She ended up offering her services at a very low rate (1/5 of the rate I paid her) just to cover her hotel bill and food. The competition and the fact that she was unknown (with no reviews) conspired against her. But for every tale of woe like that, all the traveling girls  I've met have stories of windfall jackpots - they visited a new city and made thousands and thousands of GWs primarily on the fact they were "fresh" faces in a stale meat market.

If $300 doesn't motivate you to provide good service, let alone top service, that is a problem, and should scare away clients.  (Some of us also have to lay out huge money for certain medications to make the session worthwhile)  I have seldom paid over $300, but expect GFE at that level and above.  Ironically, in the past year I have seen 2 beautiful and very passable African-American t-girls at nice hotels in the Philadelphia area who have charged $200/hour and offered close to GFE services.  Not saying you need to start there, but I will never repeat with anyone who fails to deliver GFE at $300 and above.
