I am not normally a VIP member, but every now and then I get a couple weeks here and there when I post reviews. Just recently I was awarded some VIP time and it was neat to see the messages that had been building up since my last VIP. Most were very nice comments about something I had posted a response too and even the "bad?" ones weren't a big deal. But this time I got something different. A totally perplexing comment on a recent review about the provider. Wasn't sure how to interpret it. So, I answered politely in a way that i thought would satisfy the sender. Nope, just more stuff came. I responded again in a light way and damn if he didn't respond AGAIN. I laughed it off in a response but I don't get it. While, when you get down to it considering the world we are in, I guess what he said was correct, I was taken aback by just how vulgar he was. Personally, I don't go for that and I even have a hard time writing a review "descriptive" enough to make it past the mods. IDK, I guess I'm just old. Thanks for letting me get that out.
p.s. I am not normally a VIP MOSTLY because there is very little coverage of things here in SE SC and Coastal Ga, not because I am cheap (ok I am somewhat).

Those words are totally miscatogorized. They are sentence enhancers. I don't swear or cuss (if that's still a used term) IRL very often. But push that magic button and they flow like a raging river. I find that by the time I'm done I've properly recalibrated the individual in question, on occasion I've caused some to totally breakdown.

I went with option B once, when I was contacted by a provider who, for several reasons, is not popular on the board. I respectfully declined her services, and she responded with a rash of volatile PMs calling me a "liar" and a "sick puppy" because of my attraction to transsexuals. It was so entertaining that I had to send a couple PMs to GaG so he could get a good laugh out of it, too.
but I don't recall you ever being a liar and "sick puppy" is a relative term. Around here it couldn't even be considered a compliment. lol Let's use fishbro as an example, he is by all definitions a "freak" and he is one of the best liked posters of all time.
Now if you REALLY want to see vulgar, you should see some of the PM's I have received over the years, especially the ones from when I moderated this board. I agree, they are good for a laugh. Some people take things said here so fucking seriously and those people are the most fun to fuck with.

Sometimes the BSC ones can be entertaining, other times not.
I've entertained stupid pms before. Only when I was real bored. Some people just aren't right in their head.

If you respond to the trolls, it encourages them -- silence is your best option in a case like this.
There are some folks with whom you can agree to disagree; then there are this who are willfully crude fuckheads (see what I did there? The use of the "offensive" term makes its point by its relative scarcity 
and they invite any rude response you may feel appropriate.
While I see your point about VIP not be highly relevant to your particular area (I'm in a similar situation being in a small rural area), I still pony up for the VIP membership as to stay "in the game" from a larger perspective. It also gives me a pipeline to those providers who tour the country -- occasionally, the stars align and I can travel to a location to meet with a woman who is on my "bucket list."
I pony up for a verification site that shows those that are in a specific area at a specific date. True, probably not as comprehensive a list as TER, but I can generally find what I need.
Excuse for being cheap: You live in an area where the sex business is slow, and perhaps some of the people as well. I hope the other cheapies are paying attention.
The moment you really give a damn about what a stranger says or thinks about you or a review is the moment you open your eyes and realize it's time to not give a fuck.
Learn from your mistakes, but you don't owe anyone here anything.
