So a traveling girl from NY was in town for a couple of days and I made my appointment via P411 two weeks ago. It was confirmed and I contacted the assistant to ask how they handle the communication prior to the appointment. I was provided a phone number in a PM on my verification site to 'another' assistant, a phone assistant this time. I contacted the phone assistant, as instructed on the morning of and was called back within 15 minutes and provided the name of the hotel. The phone assistant says to call her back again that evening to get the room number, but because of the time difference, she said if she doesn't answer the phone, to email the other assistant and get the room number. I told her in my 20 years of doing this, I had never been told that if someone doesn't answer (with in minutes of my appointment while Im in the parking lot) to email another assistant. I said I didn't like the idea of sending an email, waiting for email servers to refresh while I was waiting in the parking lot. She had no response. I started calling this person 10 minutes before my appointment and go no response. A few minutes after the hour I'm sitting in the parking lot with only an email option at this point. I logged into P411, went into my messages, clicked the link for the providers profile, clicked the link for her website, said I was over 18, went to the contact me page and clicked her email link and emailed her. I left at quarter after the hour only to get an email with a room number just before 630 as I was pulling into my apartment complex. I was already home. The first assistant asked in her email response if there was an issue, because the provider said I wasn't there yet. I emailed her back a shorter version of this story, with a small complaint that I had scheduled weeks in advance, I'm a business owner and quit working early to get ready for my appointment at 6, did what I was instructed to do and was on time... and that they dropped the ball. I'm not mad at the provider, but I think this went down poorly and that girl got all dolled up and lost money on a two day trip to this city. I was able to get a last minute appointment with another traveling girl, an ATF I met last year a couple hours later, so it wasn't a bust for me. Only an inconvenience. The last time I went thru an assistant it almost went off the rails too. I better not get blacklisted for leaving. This process the provider has seems like too many hands in the soup IMO

If I were the provider I would change assistants! Holy crap? Two different assistants one for phone and one for email and WTF why not answer the phone at the appointed time KNOWING  there could be an issue. Yeah you shouldnt be on the hook for anything from this.

I didn't.  One look at that HUGE paragraph and I just moved on.

LoL

Cliff says:
Provider uses two assistants. The three of them epically fail to KISS and couldn't get their shit together enough to get him the room number until a half hour past appointment time. Appointment never happened as result. Guy saw an ATF instead. Hopes he doesn't get BL'd for bailing when they left him hanging.

I'm not using the "new TER", I'm more of a classic guy I guess. Is it true the new model doesn't allow paragraph breaks in posts?

Fear and Laroche for filling us in so I didn't have to read this OP.

Not your fault, but I bet there are three people who would blame you because they never do wrong.

...managed to fuck it all up.

Lesson learned on your part about dealing with too many cooks in the kitchen. Yeah I hope you don't pay an unwarranted price for something that was not your fault. And at least you were able to salvage your night.

Bouncing back and forth between assistants is an unnecessary headache.

I wouldn't want to go back to email after I have a phone number.

I don't understand your problem with emailing from the parking lot. I definitely prefer texting, but some girls require me to email them for room/suite numbers on-site. I don't have an internet phone, so if there isn't free Wi-Fi I have to find someplace nearby (libraries and hotel lobbies, mainly). Emailing from the parking lot would be a step up for me.

There's nothing wrong with leaving after a half hour, fifteen minutes, ten minutes even. Any amount of time, really, if you're not getting a response. I've never waited for more than fifteen minutes, girls have always told me ahead of time if they're running significantly late. Except the ones who NCNS'd me.

The assistant #1 was emailing me asking to look that she emailed 2 minutes after the hour. I screen shot it to show I got their email at 624. Apparently they use email like text with little issues but they didn't anticipate gmail, on an I phone, with T mobile next to the mountain.  I got the email when I pulled into my parking lot at home.  And yes I Can't create a separate paragraph with this TER.

Might have been an intersecting read. The subject line caught my attention. Then I opened the post and immediately clicked back out. I wonder how many others did that.

... as some reviews are. One of those is enough to ruin a whole day.

Actually, as far as style goes, throwing the whole convoluted mess of that situation into one long paragraph seems appropriate somehow.

Then there's also the problem with how difficult it is to create paragraph breaks in the new TER, which the OP noted above.

So assistant #1 says she emailed at two minutes after the hour.  Well at some places I've been, by the time you get into the place and find the room that's going to make it 10 minutes after the hour.  Was she going to make up those ten minutes at the end of the time.  Sounds like the type of lady that might not, the way the whole deal was handled.   bigdell

When I try to Seperate paragraphs it doesn't

Maybe there is a way to artificially create paragraphs.
.
Start a new sentence, which is just a period.
.
Then hit enter again, and start your next paragraph.
.
I am testing this idea right now with this post.

I've never dealt with multiple schedulers before, but I have run into an issue a couple of times where a communication problem happens just before the appointment and I don't have the address or room number yet. I can understand that the provider doesn't want to give that information out too early, because they don't want the next guy knocking on the door early when the current appointment isn't over yet. But things happen. A phone runs out of charge, or gets lost, or there is a need to discuss final directions. It's frustrating, and I've had a couple of appointments fall through under those circumstances.

The old Montreal GFs used to tour to NYC and Boston. They had a great group of girls!  They were email only (no phone numbers at all) and they also used email like text. Things always worked out for me until ... I confirmed my appt a couple of hours in advance and got their reply to contact again later for hotel / room number.  Off I go to my meeting.
.
This was before smartphone email and stuff like that. I had my laptop and would look for open wifi or find a FedEx or Staples or "internet cafe" (not a problem back then in NYC or Boston) and pay to use their computers (using a browser based proxy to access my hobby email).  I got Jessyka's (who I had seen on a previous trip to the States) general location (Chelsea, NYC) more than an hour in advance. I get close and set up to send another email around 40 minutes early. I get some back and forth, 'yes, she is there', 'please send me the hotel name', 'yes, you are scheduled for x PM' but no hotel or room was forthcoming.
.
I am sending messages explaining that I have to shut down my computer / email by T minus 15 minutes to get to anyplace nearby. You guys know me from previous meetings, so please just send me the info. I am asking them to switch to SMS text messages and use a blocked number (if they feel they need to) and just send hotel / room to my phone. No email replies. A few emails asking for ANY reply, even a confirmed cancel. My last email was sent at around T minus 15.  No reply then. No reply later.
.
Ruined my day.
.
I had emails back and forth with the new owner (former MGF herself, brunette, I forget her name) over the next couple of weeks and told her that w/o a phone number I am through with MGF.  It turns out I wasn't the only one left hanging at the last minute by unanswered emails. She said they were  thinking of changing to add a phone number but it never happened and MGF is no more.
.
.
I reported the loss of paragraph breaks during beta testing but TER has not fixed it. I have been posting that I use "CR . CR" (carriage return period carriage return) to create artificial paragraph breaks in numerous posts to the boards since the beta went live as the default.

TER should just fix the problem!
-
And you should not be penalized for what is their screw-up.

I think what you're looking for is a double carriage return.

That should make a blank line in between paragraphs.

I tried several things during beta testing and nothing worked at that time. When typing in the message box, you DO see the extra line but it posted without the extra CR or CR-LF.  I am now entering THREE CRs (new line; blank line; another blank line).

CR CR CR (In the OLD days, CR sent your cursor to the beginning of the same line. LF (line feed) pushed your cursor down one line. To create a new line at the far left, you needed a combination of CR+LF which is now the norm.)  Now I am entering only TWO CRs.

CR CR TER surely did NOT fix the basic problem, interpreting CR-CR as a new line plus a blank line.

EDIT: It looks like I need THREE CRs to get a blank line. TWO CRs does NOT create a blank line separating paragraphs in the posted message.  I don't remember if I tried three CRs while beta testing.

TRIPLE CR creates a blank line but TER SHOULD FIX THEIR SOFTWARE TO RECOGNIZE TWO CRs THE WAY IT USED TO WORK IN CLASSIC AND EVERY OTHER GUI THAT I TYPE IN.

Looks like it's worked from my end.

I think that it might be a markdown thing. The popular internet site "reddit" uses a similar double carriage return system.
