....it would be interesting to see the stats on how many people use it versus people like me who stick with classic. I would think they have those numbers at their fingertips but maybe not. Afterall, they just made following threads and searching for escorts by city harder. Seeing as that is their bread and butter I don't get it. `~

There are some things I like about the new design and some things I prefer about the old one.  The new site is good for seeing any new posts as they go up.  It's not as good as the old design for following an individual thread.  The ad boards work equally well.

I'm using the new version on my IPad, and classic on my phone. The new version is too hard to read and navigate on the phone, but it seems to be okay on the larger screen and it's growing on me.

I complained to TER about the search reviews making it harder to find those matures (older age groups) harder to find as well as not just search city wide versus distance (within 15 miles, etc) as I know many "Johns" are willing to travel to many escorts suburb or city but they acted like I was full of it. Please complain complain and complain if you do not like something as that is the only way they change things. Don't stay silent on it. I think the more that complain, they can make some "tweeks" to make it easier. They made it much harder in my view.

Wasn't it always 5 year increments? ... 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, over 50 ??  Do you want a few more increments, 51-55, 56-60, over 60?
.
Where I am, the distance thing doesn't make sense to me. I don't even know how they are measuring distances. Google maps? City Hall to City Hall? Geo center to geo center?

Yeah, not sure what you're saying about harder to search for mature. If anything, the searching is one of few things that actually got better, because you can search for more than one increment at one time now. Why do you think searching by age got worse? It may not be perfect, but I don't see that it got worse.

Agree that the radius thing and the city auto populate thing is obtuse. Afraid it might lead to women a searcher would be willing to go see being excluded from results because of geography. Makes me feel like I would need to set it to max every time.

In order to change distance you have to choose the Advanced Search every time and the age choice is almost at the bottom of that convoluted search. Most get a little impatient at having to use such a long set of choices. In order to make it easier and better, they should allow you to change distance in the simple search function to within 50-100 miles. That way, the simple search will cover that and you won't have to go to advanced search to change the distance. I do know that many "johns" have said they would definitely drive more than 15 miles for a GFE provider with good/great reviews.  I think the fact that it does not allow you to "save" a distance to one that works for you and you have to go in there and adjust every time would leave out a lot of providers that are very good in your search. Many gentlemen search BEFORE they even get into town (they are coming in on business) and the search function automatically reverts to where you live or are at at the time of the search.

Do they have a special place to forward issues on this roll out?  If complaints are mixed in with the general message lines I doubt anyone will get a reply back any time soon!

There are some things that are okay about the new one, but mostly I think the old one is better.

Seems like there's been several replies made to the wrong post the last few days. Hmmmm.

How clean and minimalistic the new version is on my mobile phone. Though in my opinion it's slightly awkward posting/reading on threads with this new version versus the old.

I think the new version is shit!   I have tried both versions with various things I normally look at.. every time I end up going back to the classic site.   The only thing I have found so far on the new version that I like is where its easier to see the latest posts on a particular thread.  However I would prefer a setting or something that could be checked if a person wants to search threads like that.    My vote is keep the classic site, but I'm sure that wont happen

don't fix it. Some is ok, but nothing jumps out as noticeably better. .. yet.

for reviews, both searching and writing.  Its much easier.  I'm using the classic site for the discussion boards.  Its much easier to scan through the posts and get where I want to be.

I'm using the new version. As I suspect it is here to stay, I'll start the learning curve right away.

Ya know how we tell the Providers about unfulfilled expectations, even small things, can make the experience even worse?  Profile: hair: brunette, shoulder length. Ad pics: brunette, shoulder length. Reviews: brunette, shoulder length. You show up and, with no warning, now she has a blonde, pixie hair do.  No matter how pretty she is, blonde or brunette, many of us are EXTRA-disappointed because we have thinking about brunette-shoulder length for many days prior to our meeting.

I follow and contribute to discussions on S&P (and General and Newbie) and I just can't figure out TER ignored most of the things we've discussed regarding simple improvements. "Build" used to have "thin" and "skinny" that no one could agree on (thin > skinny or skinny > thin?).  There were lots of good suggestions on the boards, but what do we end up with?
average, slender, athletic, very muscular, few extra pounds, flabby, plus size, plus plus size
.
WHAT THE HECK DO THOSE THINGS MEAN??? Isn't it possible that someone athletic is also muscular? Or, as I joke about it, "pixie spinner gymnast athletic" or "Eastern European unlimited class weight lifter athletic".
.
Now, instead of "thin vs skinny" we have "few extra pounds vs flabby".  Does any of this make senses to anybody?
.
Why couldn't TER Admin post to the boards someplace (General?), "What do you think of these possible categories for build in the future system?" BEFORE making their changes (which they likely will not fix for another 5 years).
.
I was expecting TER to consider more of the forum suggestions but they did not. Unfulfilled expectations yields greater disappointment from the new look.
.
(NOTE: I still have to type "CR, period, CR" in order to get a paragraph break because the forums currently merge everything into one giant paragraph with no blank lines or indentations.)

I immediately switch to classic.. for some reason it's more appealing.. probably because I am used to it.. The new site looks like a cartoon to me..  I hate it..

First off, I didn't think there was anything wrong with what is now "classic" TER, but change is always inevitable.  So I've made the effort with BETA now that it's become the default, and the more time I spend on it, the more I'm finding it just as easy to navigate as classic.  With immersion comes familiarity.  Initially I was frustrated, but once I figured out to use tree mode most of my frustration disappeared.  One thing that is driving me nuts is that blue feedback box on the left side of the screen which blocks the ability to access whatever it covers, but my query to TER admin indicates that it will disappear soon.

Using both at the moment while adjusting to the new version. Seems to be helping more with the transition. (Still favor classic, but not as abrasive toward the new as I was at first.)

Re: Tell them to leave the site alone!! New design suxs.
It looks like with the new system you can bump up threads. Does that mean we can bump up threads from years ago or is there a time limit?

LMAO................So who wants to be the first one to try this new mechanism of bumping up threads from years ago? Bump up some old train wreck threads from years ago!

At least now I found everything anyway. I have zero issues finding threads and following them. And escort ads are on the exact same board they ever were for my city, nor do I have issues finding ads for other cities. I do think it takes time to get used to, but it much better then old TER was before they fixed it. Now that was a nightmare to follow.
