I think the biggest embellishments are by the very same "guys over fifty who claim they can cum three times in an hour" who also claim the woman had eleven orgasms in that same hour.

It's not even a close comparison, most likely the guy did come once, so he is only overstating how many times he came by two. It's unlikely the girl came even a single time, so his is overstating her orgasms by the full eleven times. lol

It's just one of the many reasons I rarely if ever even bother reading the "juicy details" anymore. Quite frankly, I just don't find them that fucking juicy. Boring is more the word that comes to mind when describing most reviews.

I recently read a review that could only be described as epic.  It was ridiculously long, paragraph after paragraph describing a bevy of carnal delights in vivid detail.  The poor woman supposedly climaxed so many times that the pleasure center of her brain must have shut down from severe overload, each orgasm being of the most intense, ground-shaking variety.  Obviously TER has a modern day Casanvoa on its hands, a man whose unmatched sexual prowess has the power to transform women who have sex for a living into puddles of satisfied gelatinous goo.

My curiosity piqued, I perused this impressive gentleman's other reviews.  Guess what I saw?  Every single one of his many long-winded reviews resembles an entire chapter ripped from the pages of an erotic fantasy novel.  Perhaps unsurprisingly, none of the providers he allegedly ravaged received a performance score lower than 9.

So this got me to wondering...how large of a grain a salt must each review be taken with by those of us who rely on them for information about providers?  Obviously no guy is going to post a review in which he is overly critical of his own performance, but should there be some reasonable expectation of objectivity?  Ladies, have you ever read reviews of your own encounters that you found laughably exaggerated?  I'm especially interested to hear from you on this.

I would say more like a giant block of salt. lol

Those reviews are completely worthless to the rest of us, as they aren't even about the woman, but more about the sexual prowess of the reviewer, which needs to be taken with several large blocks of salt, even if anyone really gave a fuck about how he is God's gift to women.

I  hope you aren't suggesting this is either a new or uncommon phenomenon, This kind of review is VERY common, and has been going on since the beginning of provider reviews.

I knew I could count on you to jump on this one, Gambler.  Of course guys have been exaggerating about their own abilities forever, but these reviews were something else entirely.  To paraphrase a George Carlin routine, I almost had to stand back in awe of the level of bullshit in those reviews.  What I'm really interested in here is to hear from providers and their take on the reliability and truthfulness they have observed in reviews of their own encounters.  I'm NOT asking anybody to name names or embarrass their clients.  Just some general thoughts or amusing (anonymous) anecdotes would be fantastic.

I've read reviews of providers with said providers and the reaction was anywhere from "Aww, he's sweet" to "What the Fuck!!!???" lol

In one case my GF did a lot of threesomes, she couldn't stand doing them, but they were part of the job. 95% of the reviews of her with another girl stated how much she "loved" being with another woman. I don't think the reviewers were lying, I think they were simply clueless.

Abe Lincoln that said, "You can't believe everything you read on the internet."  Yep, that was an actual meme that someone posted and I can't believe how gullible some folks are, but they are based on the comments they posted against it.

The same can be said for reviewers, some are truly a "legend in their own mind".  I don't even bother reading past the general details anymore.  Every lady is YMMV anyway, so I just want to get a better sense of who she is.

- The casanova has a minimum 8" cock.
- The casanova is able to have nonstop sex for 20-40min.
- Providers give extra time to the casanova because of the great sex.
- Casanova is offered a menu that no other reviewer has mentioned.
- Casanova leaves a very detailed long review to justify the conquest.

Please add yours.

... the Casanova is God's gift to woman-kind, with an Adonais body, bulging biceps and pecs, unmatched DATY skills, of course a minimum 8" cock that holds up after 5-6+ orgasms, etc.  I guess these guys don't realize reviews aren't supposed to be about THEM.  Stick to describing the provider, please, not what a stud the author is.

My review is pretty accurate. I notice this a lot in sex in general. With all of the motion, faces, squirting, and verbal affirmations that occur men think that we cum a lot more that we do. Especially with squirting, sometime it just happens due to the angle, pressure, etc and it's not an orgasm. I've had men say something to the effect of "wow you came X times!" when in actuality I came a fraction of that, they just can't differentiate between noises/writhing around and an orgasm.

Basically what I'm saying is that he gets off on writing the reviews and thinks he's a sexual wizard. Nothing wrong with that, it's pretty common. Plus, if you took the time to meet a provider that you've been admiring and it really was awesome, the review is probably gong to be over the top.

In the same vein: I saw a guy in my personal life lately and we watched porn together and he was convinced that porn isn't acting (he was in his 40s). Some guys just live for the fantasy.

most of what occurs in this little world is 90% fantasy and 10% physical reality. It's almost ALL about the fantasy!

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that reviews would reflect such fantasies, nor is it necessarily a bad thing for anyone... :)

I would be inclined to agree with you, except that a lot of guys, especially newbies, rely on the reviews when deciding on which providers to see.  If the reviews are pure fiction, they don't help anybody.  Also, I thought that the ladies would have a problem with these kinds of reviews, since they could cause prospective clients to develop unrealistic expectations.  But the few providers who have chimed in so far don't seem to share this view, so maybe I'm wrong about that.

take the short, generic reviews with a grain of salt.  Many guys write these who never saw the girl and are just scamming TER for VIP credit because they're cheap.  They all boil down to this:

"DFK, shower, BBBJ, DATY, 69, CG, RCG, ACG, DG, mish, round two the same, another shower."

Reviews like this do nothing but mimic the menu and doesn't help anyone decide whether to see a particular girl or not.  I try to add something unique, which is admittedly difficult on a girl that already has 50+ reviews, that shows the personality or playfulness of the girl.  Most of us aren't just there for the sex, we want to have a fun social interaction as well.  This kind of review will naturally require more words than the generic variety.

I only use a range of 7-10 when reviewing because I don't want to hurt a girl's business who may be trying, but just doesn't measure up to the industry standard.  Everyone has to start somewhere.  I agree that when the scores are like a guy recently on the LA board, where they are 90% 10/10, with the remainder being 9's, its of no use to anybody else.

That's actually a pretty good point.  I suppose a happy medium between the list of acronyms and the erotic fantasy novel is what most reviewers should be shooting for.

Damn straight they are definitely going to get something out of that. The juicy details? The availability to use a aliase, and PM. There's just so much incentive.

I've never read your reviews but I know you are a shill. I don't give shit one way or another. I just like how excited you get when I mention this.

Go ahead call me a virgin, and prove how stupid you look. lol

...just the facts please. I do not want to read a porn story starring the reviewer.

...who love to use this platform to entertain the masses. I honestly don't know which is worse - the 6 page dissertators or the 3 sentence minimalists.

My reviews are, of course, pure fiction, as are all of the reviews posted here. ;)

In general I think there has been score inflation on TER over the years on both sides.

For fake reviews-the one that says I did a back rub & a covered bj-lmfao!!! (I've reported to ter as a fake review cuz No one wants to gag on rubber)... But if someone wants to say they came 3 times when in truth they could only came once or they accomplished the whole karma sultra book in an hour session then so what!!! I mean come on it's their fantasy... But those who do fake reviews for VIP points should get punished!!!

Happy Sunday Funday ter peeps!!!

Assume this, with most all reviews:

“I huffed and puffed and wheezed like the Little Engine that Could – only I couldn’t.”

Yes.  So much so that I was sure it was a fake review.  It's happened more than once, and when questioned about it, my reviewers either claimed he was "just trying to help you by making it exciting to read!"  or that TER didn't accept his review the first time so he had to add more to it.

why I now need a pretty damn good reason to write a review. It is VERY annoying to share what I am comfortable sharing in a review, only to be told to add detail and (my interpretation) "embellish" it.

Come on. The biggest embellishments are by guys over 50 who claim they can cum three times in an hour. Their reviews are more about their sexual prowess than the girl.

It just could be just the way he writes, no biggie.

I recently read a short embellished review. Two short paragraphs, but he mentioned that he shared a simultaneous orgasm with the provider. I checked his other two reviews, and he managed the same feat with the previous provider that he saw.
