"I have been happily participating on the 60 and Over Board only to discover that some of the posters there would prefer to have mostly serious discussions. It was never my intention to take over the board. Nor was it my intention to upset anyone. I thought most people there were enjoying my posts. And the postings from some of the ladies I encouraged to join us there. I feel I brought a breath of life to the 60 and Over board. I definitely increased the posting there 10 fold. I am hoping you would consider creating a board called the Baby Boomers Board. I think I have some great ideas to share. I have the time, positive energy and the motivation to do this. So, I know I can get a board moving. There is a book board that doesn't seem to be taking off. Maybe we could use that spot as the new Baby Boomers Board? What do you think?" also maybe we could make it an alias free board a kinder and gentle board  a fun  board for all  any thoughts?

I just answered your question on the gd board as to what and where the s&p board was, then I hopped over here and found you here already. lol

I think a kinder gentler fun board would be cool. Alias free might be nice too. Although I enjoy aliases for humor, but not aliases for bashing others. Might be a tough board to moderate, to keep the trainwrecks and battles off, but would be nice if it took off. Good luck. Hope the powers that be, take your suggestion.

I haven't read the over 60 board in a while. I might pop over there now to see what has been going on the past month:)

it's small enough that you can remodel it as the Wild West or as Civilization. TER is bigger: separate compartments are needed.

I like Victoria's suggestion of a Baby Boomers board, especially if it's designated as an alias free zone.

I can understand the need for using an alias at times, but the misuse of aliases makes the General board a very unfriendly place to try and have an adult discussion.  I think the type of board that Victoria is suggesting is worth creating, even if it's only on a trial basis.
