...Jim Herman, a 38 year-old journeyman golfer who had never won before, won the Shell Houston Open today.  Along with the $1.22 million in prize money, he is now eligible to play in the Masters next week for the first time.

In 2006, Herman was working at one of Trump's golf clubs and Trump told him he should be playing on the PGA tour.  Trump's confidence in him as well as some financial backing led Herman to toil on the Web.com tour for eight years.  Now he has his first PGA tour win in 106 tournaments.

Trump is a winner.  At least he keeps saying that...but so did Charlie Sheen.
