In replying to the Fur-man, I initially missed the heretical vicious unwarranted diatribe by theregular_smile

'Big Terrapin' about my Clydesdales in the paint. While they're no Bill Waltons-by any stretch-smile, they're capable of providing a little D and O -OK, OSP, well maybe not Zoubek-ha ha -while the 3 headed monster takes care of the scoring-and they provide 15 fouls, which is considerable from down low.
I expect a good close game-the Devils will have to contain somewhat Butler, who is terrific-
and will expect the Devils to come out on top. I have a few drachmas down as well-though not as many as the Terrapin...
Thanks for the first person account, OSP, and wish I was there-have fun-1rob....waiting for game time...OUT   8-)

Well, I'm a KY fan, so obviously I hate to say it. I don't believe WVA can duplicate their 3pt shooting against UK while Duke will hit some 3's KY couldn't and get 2nd chance pt.s from offensive rebounds. Just as Butler had a great game he will be hard pressed to repeat, Singler had a terrible performance against Baylor that he will surely rebound from. Duke won't overlook Mazzulla like UK did.
Hey 1rob, you may get another title, so I gotta ask- What if Duke had faced Kansas St in the regional final and UK had played Ohio St the way the seedings should have been drawn? You Dukies lead a charmed life!

I agree. W. Va. just does not have the offense and Duke also has quite a size advantage.

If, however, one of Duke's three scorers has a 0-11 game, that might change things although Duke still pulled the game out with Baylor. If 2 of the big three shoot 25% or less, as happened in the Villanova game last year, then I would give it to W.Va.

On the other hand there is the possiblity that all three of the Big Three will have good games and if so it will be an easy victory.

Duke has the best "A" game.

AH to be young and naive again.........:-)

To think someone considers the 'intramural' play, of Zuebek and the Plumlee's, to be an actual threat.

You're correct about the three-ball; Duke's ONLY chance of victory comes from behind(possibly their's)the ARCH. While WV's plan will undoubtedly be to POUND the ball INSIDE. It shouldn't take but 10 minutes to get all of 'Pukes'(suppossedly)big men into foul trouble.

Now about Indy:

How interesting a sporting event has the ability to relegate a normal adults psychological disposition to that of a 10th grader. The city is filled with 'COLOR'.

IMO; 35% Dukkie Blue
    30% Butler 'Yuk'
25% Wv 'coal' :-D MONEYBALL BABY
    10% Mich. St. green

Today's 'scenery' may change a bit. Yesterday was sort of early to hope for 'local' support to be present.

Now if I could find something to keep US BUSY :-D until tip-off.
