T.B.S. is on the right track, but there's still more to be done.

Apply to the Federal government for a "faith-based initiative" grant. Perhaps a project seeking to enrich and uplift the women that frequent these boards.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season.  I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if other hobbyists are having the same problem I am this season.  With holiday bills coming in and the thought of paying more for our hobby due to the super bowl coming to town, are others taking a breather?  I can think if other hobbies that aren’t as expensive (needles to say they aren’t as much fun either!), but I may have to take up chess for a month or so to get my bills in order.  Are there others in my predicament too?

Like Patty O’Brien says  “Have Fun!”

Yes, I feel your pain brother. However, if you're like me you probably ate too much over the holidaze and you probably got some gifts that don't quite suit you.
Therefore, you must prioritize. Don't buy food and return (or sell)those gifts for cash. Also, keep your decorations up and declare your home a church. That makes you a minister so forget about paying taxes.
Happy New Year!

A local provider recently stated that she will raise her rates beacuse of the superbowl crowd. Because of that , I know that I will not see her. To run up rates on locals is unacceptable to me. Just an opinion. I have found plenty of other lower priced gems out there. It does take some work though. Reading reviews thoroughly pays off in the long run. For the most part, I doubt if I will see any $300+ providers in the future. Maybe a PS if the opportunity should arise. But, I have found the service that I like at rates from 175 to 250. Wht pay more for something you don't need?
