But, seriously! Does anyone really think the images of those poor children had anything to do with Trump's decision? I listened to an interesting segment on "Reliable Sources," which discussed how the network and cable news companies have a policy of not showing the bodies of children blown to bits, because it's too upsetting for the viewers, but if they are killed by nerve gas, it's permissible.

The con man is caught in multiple situations, his family, his family business, his tax returns, his son in law, Syria, Putin, ISIS, N. Korea and his entourage full of Russian spies and KGB agents.

It amazes me, that you don't see, as so many voters did, a person that isn't a political animal. Every action from Trump isn't dictated by optics. That was Obama's playbook. That's what Clinton does. Control everything. The attempt to control every little detail. To poll test, screen every action before taking that action.
Trump isn't like that. He witnessed an atrocity and took action. We can argue if it's right or wrong, but the man acted. It wasn't poll tested. He did what he thought was the right thing to do. He didn't draw a line in the sand, he didn't try to slough off the responsibility to the UN or to Congress. He acted because that's what leaders do, they act.
Trump isn't a politician. He didn't grow up learning to say the right thing at the right time to reach the right audience. It's seriously a breath of fresh air. A man that does what he thinks is right because he thinks it's right.
What I don't get is why you so badly want him to fail. I didn't want Obama to fail. I want every President to succeed. I want them to make our lives better. While I might not agree with some policies, I look to the overall goal of their presidency. What I found, and it was incredibly fast, that Obama wasn't interested in doing what was best for everyone, He was driven to create a legacy. He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. He and his people told Amazing lies. They obviously misused the government for their personal/political advantage. I hope Trump doesn't act like that. I don't think he will. Certainly he's going to make mistakes, misspeak, and act like a blowhard he can't help himself but deep down I really believe that his only interest is to make the country better for Americans.
So yes I do believe he saw an atrocity recognized that Assad broke his promises and he acted. So much more then Obama would have done. Maybe O would have called on the UN to do something... Maybe he would have shed a fake tear before rushing off to play another 18..
Why would a leader of a country that banned GMO foods because he didn't want it to compromise the DNA of his people, use gas on his own people? That is what is bugging me.
Because they are not his people; the people he is gassing. When push comes to shove, it's not about being a Syrian, but being an Alawite. His people are the Alawite.
You dumb fool... in 2013, Obama went to Congress requesting authority to react in Syria... The Republican majority ignored his request and he could do nothing.. the same ones that are praising Trump

The stated goal of McConnell and his band of thugs was to obstruct the President in every way possible and BTW.. That Pres was elected by a wide majority of the voting public. not by a minority like the clown there now.. His impeachment is imminent and very justifiable. Every day he digs himself a deeper hole.. so defend him.. but realize that you are in a small minority.. so shut your trap when you don't know what you are talking about..
