Politics and Religion

This college professor won't be teaching at JDU anytme soon...

Yeah, it's very sad that there are these types of individuals who are "educating" our young people. It seems that there are too many people on both sides of the political spectrum who espouse "freedom of speech"' but only if you voice what they themselves are saying. Look up the definition of a bigot. This person is a prime example. Again, very sad.

I don't know. Isn't it a figure of speech though? How many times you said out loud "I'd kill this #$%*&^!" or "I think Trump (or Obama) should die for "this or that"!", especially if it's in relation to a politician that you didn't care for? Doesn't mean that you're actually gonna go and do somebody in. Also, tone matters too. Judging by such criteria I should hanging off the tree long ago.

Especially as it relates to Trump. I'm sure even Trump supporters would agree that Trump is a controversial figure that evokes strong sentiments whether pro or con. I suspect more then Obama did, and even Bush before him (I don't remember how many times I said that this later guy should die slow death with ghosts of those who died because of his "after me, the flood"-type action tormenting him in his last moments. So how about sentencing me for that?)

Why do we have to cater to the most hyper-sensitive of us? So someone who likes Trump (or Obama) complained that someone who doesn't like Trump (or Obama) said that the president had to "hang". I'd giggle in either case. That PC shit hurts both ways. Truly, don't see much difference between this and "Back in the USSR".
