This could be interesting. Of course it depends on how it's moderated, and questions that will be asked. So, if you had the chance to be in the audience, and ask a question or make statement, what would you say? This is about the economy, nothing else. I would have a number of questions, but I'll start with just one.
"Obama, would you consider adding someone with actual business experience to your economic team? You currently have lawyers, academia or policy wonks making critical economic decisions. Why not get a more broad base perspective on the economy?"
Mr Obama, in your campaign to persuade voters to vote for you, you said when you were President you would be going thru the budget "line by line" to look for ways to cut spending.
In light of the fact that spending under you has EXPLODED we assume you're not done with the study. So my question is, do you have a fuckin clue when you might be done with that or is THIS it?
At the end of his first year, spending by Obama was 8% less than spending during GW Bush's last budget year, this is WITH Obama including the cost of two wars in his budget, which GW Bush did not include in any of his budgets. Maybe you should educate yourself and think of another question.
