...Clearly Michelle Obama was a beautiful & classy first lady, & only some Hitler worshiping moron would fail to see that. Mrs.Trump has not been !st lady long enough to judge her yet, let's give her some time.

I loved Michelle and think she was a very excellent First Lady. Loved how articulate she was.
I have no ill feelings toward Melania. I think it's unfair to compare the two because although she has the title of "First Lady" by marriage, she is not acting in the role the way that we have come to think of it as. My belief is that she is intimidated by the amount of work that it is, and also that she has no interest in a lot of the types of things that First Lady's are now expected to do (as far as becoming a champion for certain causes). The tradition of this activism as First Lady was led by both Dolley Madison and Eleanor Roosevelt.
It is a shame because the honest truth is that the First ladyship is whatever she wants to make of it. Historically, the primary purpose has always been ceremonial. The First Ladyship, at its core, simply requires her to be a hostess. I believe Melania could, at the very least, fulfill that small duty. (I could be mistaken, but my understanding is that she is not doing even this; the task has been taken on by Ivanka. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I think she would be quite talented at restoring a bit of pageantry to the White House- although she would be met with criticism for anything she does due to her husband.
I see no point in bringing up her modeling portfolio or the possibility of her having been an escort earlier in her life.
My grandkids can search the internet, and easily find a picture of our First Lady naked as a jaybird!
