Hello Hobbyists,

I noticed something this morning and now getting around to posting about it.

Earlier this week, I saw one of the provider ads that clearly stated that this provider was coming to my hometown. Ok, cool.

She made it clear that the pre-booking deadline was the day PRIOR to coming into my town. Ok, fine.

Also, she made a point to mention that she will NOT accept any bookings after the deadline has passed.
Ok, fine with me. (I had no plans to meet her anyways, I was reading the ad out of curiousity)

Then, this morning, I read this same provider has stated that she has openings for the next few days and would like to fill them. Hmm??  Why would she say that AFTER she made it clear that there wouldn't be any bookings after her self imposed pre-booking deadline? She made it crystal clear that she did NOT want to deal with any screenings and all of those things that go with the process.

Is this the norm for out-of-town ladies to flip-flop like this?

To Hobbyists: Does this make you leery of setting up an appointment with this provider after she made it clear that she wouldn't do any bookings when she arrived into your hometown?

Well, Hobbyists? What are your thoughts on this?

Something like, their were threats made towards the provider?
You had no PLANS to meet her? Then why the initial contact??

Looks like she wanted to create a sense of urgency / selectivity so her dance card would be fully booked in advance, and it didn't work.  This would not put me off.  Nice try!

I never said that I contacted her.

My posting was general in nature and I am asking hobbyists their thoughts on this matter.

Simple post with a simple question. There is no need to make accusations that you cannot back up.

As a companion, it's crucial to plan ahead when touring. This allows us to determine whether it's beneficial to visit that particular area. Although, some companions will claim that money is basically a second factor...ultimately it all boils down to finances in the end. Sometimes, even if they didn't receive a huge response prior to her arrival, they'll go ahead and take a gamble. Then, after arriving in town, the requests still aren't coming in. Typically, at that time, they'll post a few additional ads hoping to fill their dance card. This process is common.

My largest concern at this point is verification. It is very difficult to efficiently and thoroughly verify a gentleman last minute. In my opinion, safety is top priority. For that very reason, I will have an overflow list. This is gentlemen on standby waiting for a possible opening. These gentlemen have all been pre-verified to eliminate any safety concerns.

I wouldn't necessarily be reluctant to visit with these companions, if their looking for last minute bookings....as long as their verifying. Without verification, the companion is ultimately showing that her safety....and well, YOURS...is void. This type of practice, I would abstain from at all cost.

She wanted to encourage gents to book before she arrived so she knew she wouldn't be wasting her time and money making the trip.

She might have gotten enough response to go ahead with her travel plans and then got a couple of last minute cancellations (it happens to all of us) and now she needs to book a couple more appointments to make up for what she lost with the cancellations.

It happens to all of us.  I've arrived at the location, settled into the room and got a call an hr before I was supposed to see someone telling me he needs to cancel.  I'd rather not sit around the room doing nothing, so why not advertise that I have an availability?

I do agree with your post 100%.

Don't misunderstand me, I know that life does throw curveballs at you at the most unsuspecting times. Us hobbyists usually have a few things to deal with that comes up without warning.

This is one of the reasons why I do not see out-of-town providers. I do not want to be that person to cancel on the out-of-town provider due to something that has come up that is beyond my control.

It's bad enough that I had to do that with the local ladies, but they have seen me often enough to know that I rarely cancel on them. If I do have to cancel on them, they know that I will make it up to them with an appointment within a day or two. Not too easy to make it up with an out-of-town provider who may have left town by the time I am able to see her.

On top of all of that... the providers have to verify me and I want to verify them as well. It's a 2-way street when it comes to verification. Twice I came very close to getting burned by law enforcement, but luckily both times LE had insufficient evidence against me, therefore, I was only given a warning. This was after I was supposedly verified by those 2 ladies, who turned out to be undercover LE.

I learned my lesson to verify the ladies I see and it's easier to do that with the local ladies as opposed to ladies out-of-town.

What drama? Just because I posted a simple question that you are getting all bent out of shape. Looks like the drama is coming from you. I do not see anyone else getting uptight about it.

Just going by what i hear. I believe my sources to be reliable.
I do believe in innocent until proven guilty though. So, i will hold my tongue for now.
I'm just not real patient when I HEAR, a man is picking on a women. Especially someone i consider a friend.

Unlike many, some of us don't have a stand by system of guys we can just fill an appt. with. We might at most see 1 or 2 a day, so there is no need for some list of plan bs. Could also be why we have time to do whatever we want including posting on the boards at leisure. We are not high volume even when we tour, but it's common sense to make money when you pay to get there.

We pre-book and offer those guys a discount because it works both ways. Quite frankly a woman does not have to offer any type of discount for any reason, so some guys appreciate that when it is done for whatever reason.

I agree about last minute appts. and screening, which is why I simply do not do it! If a guy contacts me the night before, I can usually get a response from his ref in about 8 hours giving me time to see him depending on when he wants an appt. Now, if he contacts me only 2 or 3 hours beforehand, only an employment check will suffice as I can do that in 20 minutes. Sometimes the women on his reference list, are not any I would trust to accept.
