Newbie - FAQ
I am new to the sport in the States, particularly NYC area, and new to this great site. I've noticed some differences on hobbying in the US versus Brazil and have some basic questions on the process here. I'd appreciate the experienced among you helping me out.
In Sao Paulo this is how it works. You call the girl directly and schedule a time at her place. Once you arrive at the location you call her and she gives you the apartment number. After some small talk you take a shower (big on hygiene which is good). You go for 2 rounds within a 90 minute period for around 250 to 300. In between you have time for chatter or even polish off a bottle of wine. Typically a lot of caressing and many times everything is available if previously agreed upon. You leave her a gift on the table upon departure (she doesn't count).
Seems like here, at least in NY, it's an hour for 300+ with typically only one round. There seems to be an agency involved many times.
Basically I'd like some advice (possibly even a link to a former discussion) on how to go about contacting and scheduling an appointment
I agree with what swimtrekr and London have said, but I will break it down and try to cover your specific concerns with more detail.
You will find much of the sessions here pretty consistant with what you say is the experience in Brazil. (First contact to make appointment, second call to get room number, small talk, shower multiple shots, wine, chatter, etc...) The main difference will probably be the rates, and perhaps screening as swim mentioned. I don't know how much they screen there. Most providers in the USA want you to contact them a day or more ahead so they can screen you. Screening will involve either giving up some personal information or having provider references, or belonging to one of the verification sites such as P411. Lades are different in what they require and how they screen, but do be prepared for some type of screening.
Contacting the provider is usually by email, phone, or text. Her contact info and preferred method of contact will be on her website and/or ads. Some want you to fill out their contact form on their website. Some you can contact via PM through verification sites such as P411. Some are okay with PMs from TER. Generally you will find out how they want to be contacted by reading their websites or ads.
300/hr for NY is definitely on the low side. (as London and prepkid said) That is a common rate in other areas of the country, but NY is one of the higher priced areas.
Some ladies work through agencies, but there are also many independent ladies.
Most well reviewed GFE providers will offer MSOG. (multiple rounds) You can find out by reading their reviews. Definitely get the VIP membership. It is only 30 bucks a month. It will more than pay for itself with your first appointment. It will allow you to read the juicy details of the reivews, use the TER PM system, and do more detailed searches. You can start your search here on TER by searching reviews (with your VIP membership) for your area. You can plug in the search criteria you want, as far as looks, rates, services offered etc. You can also look at ad malls such as EROS cityvibe, backpage etc, but when you find girls there, check if they have reviews here.
Do check out the self help center as swim mentioned. You should also read back on this board as you will see many questions come up often, and almost anything you can think of has been answered already. You can also search for specific topics by using the search feature at the top of the page. The default day range on search is 30, but you can change that to a higher number to go back farther. if you cant find what you want, feel free to come back and ask here.
