up until 2009, it was legal to solicit online and behind closed doors so I never had to really ask screening question, plus, my agency i worked for did it for me...can someone give me some screening questions when someone contacts me?

Can you give me references from two reputable providers? Are you an approved member of P411 or Date-check?

those are good questions to start with.

I usually start by asking the guy to tell me about himself - sometimes you can determine that you don't want to see someone before you ever get started on the screening just by how he responds to general questions.

It might be wise to communicate sensitive stuff like this by PM.

You don't want LE knowing how you operate, after all.

There all kinds of screening methods and you got some good advice here (including mrfisher's advice to keep it off the boards)

However I am very curious about your comment that it was legal to solicit online before 2009. Care to explain?

sure...in the state of rhode island, there was a loophole in the law that made is somehow LEGAL to solicit "behind closed door", meaning, that while street walking was illegal, if i was say, in a convenience store/mall/my house and used the internet or walked up to someone and said "hey wanna (insert whatever) for (insert amount of money)??" it was legal to do and cops couldn't touch you...same for a lot of the strip clubs in the state (a lot of them still do it......a guy could walk up to the girl (or vise versa) and it was allowed because it was INDOORS......they had tried to close it for twenty something years...and in 2009, after much battle and fighting, it was finally closed.
