A few of the ads are new, but most the "new & updated" ads are just old ones recycled.  But it seems like a surge in LA.  The same page for Manhattan has very few "new & updaed" listings each day.

the "New & Update" section is something they (CV) rotate on their own, or is it more a case of a lady complaining that "I'm not getting any calls, and will pull my ad if things don't improve"... and this is how they try to stir it up for the "sqweaky wheels".

I ask since the LA board (see link) seems to have spiked in last couple days.

I clicked on your link, and found many LA ads.  I then clicked on, "new ads and updates", and found a significant subset.  The gals appear to be there!

CityVibe is a paid ad site, they really do not monitor how many hits an ad gets. The New & Update is supposedly just like Eros, where they will list you there for 7 days when the lady changes her photos or text. I know Eros is very strict and only allows that once per month, I am pretty sure CV is the same.

No one cares if your ad gets any hits or not. What is most likely happening there is that the girls are paying an additional fee to be listed in the New & Update section.

I have no problem with City vibe or Eros in general but anyone who reads those sites needs to understand that it is all paid advertising. There is no verification of any sort. City vibe in particular is known for leaving listings up for months or years after a lady stops paying for it simply yo make it appear that they have a lot of listings.

Long after ladies have retired, quit their particular agencies, etc. their old ads can reappear under the "new" section.

CV wants to generate traffic to their site. The more ads they keep, the more people will return. Apparently it doesn't matter to CV if the ads are still legit or not.

I get on the "new" section without even requesting or paying for it.

I have to concur with everyone else, you get in the "new and update" section of any mall site by being new or updating your ad. Even a small change will get you updated

I do appreciate the free CV weekend ad though. They sometimes give out the free taste in hopes that the ladies will then see the benefit of taking out a paid ad. It's just business.
