I dont see any reason why a poster on this board (male or female) should refer to offline conversations they have had with another provider or hobbyist. Such conversations are, by definition, offline, and they are often private and personal. I realize that this kind of info is exchanged all the time backchannel, but IMO that's why there IS a backchannel.
BTW please note that my suggestion is intended to be even-handed and neutral.
